"Yo Yo, can you please forgive me and don't be angry anymore please?" Yo Yo, quite the jewel of her daddies' eyes, turned her nose up with a huff.

"No way, Xiao Fei is a meanie. You promised to make me hamburger patties but now you are making omelette rice for papi instead. Obviously you love papi more than Yo Yo," Yo Yo pouted. Xiao Fei sighed as he squatted down to his daughter's height.

"Yo Yo, you know I love you as much as I love papi. It's not like we can't have hamburger patties forever, I just thought papi deserves a favorite meal too since he was so busy these few weeks and can't eat with us everyday. You would want papi to be healthy now don't you?"

"Well...yes...I miss papi too," the little girl's voice soften.

"I miss papi too. So, let's pamper him, only for today, with his favorite omelette rice ok? Then tomorrow when he comes home early, I'll make hamburger patties and yours will be in a love shape. How about that?" Xiao Fei smiled.

"Ok! That's a deal. Let's go get apples for papi and milk!" Yo Yo's mood changed for the better and started to drag Xiao Fei by the hand around the supermarket.

They reached the snacks section when Yo Yo begged for her favorite potato chips. Xiao Fei relented and proceed to grab one bag from the top shelf. He tiptoed and struggled to reach a bag stubbornly stuck inside the cage like shelf. When he finally yank one, he lost his footing and was about to fall on bottom when a pair of strong arms grabbed him.

That person turned out to be... Steven. His classmate from the next door class. They shared the same elective Death Note class and also, the person who confessed to him like a year ago.

"Th-thank you, for catching me..." Xiao Fei said shyly as Steven helped stabilize his footing.

"Yeah, you are welcome. Doing your shopping?" Steven asked, smiling and then he noticed Yo Yo staring at him while clutching tightly to Xiao Fei's waist, protective of Xiao Fei.

"Ye-yes, shopping. Umm... with my... daughter...say hello Yo Yo," Xiao Fei nudged. Yo Yo gave a soft "hello".

"Wow, I didn't know you have a little girl...," Steven started but stopped.

"Yeah, she belongs to my fiancee's but she is mine all the same now," Xiao Fei said directly hoping Steve understood the hidden meaning.

"Right. I heard of your engagement. Congratulations. I-I should get going. See you around," Steven said and with a little bow he left.

Xiao Fei watched him leave the store. He recalled rejecting the guy a year ago. Perhaps if he hasn't met Yi Jie, Steven would be a good boyfriend candidate.

"Xiao Fei, I'm hungry, let's go!"

Xiao Fei smiled as he let his daughter dragged him away again.

Yi Jie was glad when he finally reached the front of his apartment door. The drinking session concluded much earlier than he expected and he was really happy he can go back before midnight for the first time in the month. How he missed his dinner time and TV time with his family.

Locking the door behind him, he immediately saw his favorite plate of omelette rice neatly cling wrapped on the dining table. All waiting for him. Glancing the clock, it's already 11.15pm. Yo Yo is definitely in bed but what about Xiao Fei?

After checking his sleeping Yo Yo, he turned to his room. Indeed, Xiao Fei is all curled up in bed, sound asleep. He can't help but smile at his sleeping angel. Suddenly he felt an urge to kiss the sleeping lad but at the same time he felt bad for disturbing his sleep.

What should he do?
