Ali.

"How did I get home last night? I don't remember any damn thing." I ate a spoonful of cereals. I have to go to school cause dad told me so.

"Did I say anything?" Maybe I spilled some beans while I was drunk last night. I have to be sure, I didn't tell anyone about my secrets or anything.

Hope I didn't.

As usual, now, dad drove us to school and bid goodbye. Orange was already waiting at the gate. "Akin na." I handed my bag over to him.

"What did I say last night?" He gave me a 'What do you mean' look. "Did I say anything different last night? When I was drunk."

"Um.. Ano.."

"Jaimee! Good thing you're here." A teacher came to us. "Can I talk to you for a second, it's about the upcoming journalism next month. Better be ready. We don't want what happened to that previous journalism to happen again."

"Of course." Niya returned her look at us. "Guys, mauuna na muna ako ah. Kita nalang tayo sa class mamaya." Niya left with the teacher.

"So?"

As long as it's not that private then okay.

"Go on."

"Tagalog ka ng tagalog kagabi. Kung alam mo lang."

"What the fvck?! Are you serious?! If you're lying, I swear I'm gonna kill you!" I know I was drunk but I would never speak in that friggin' language.

So I was literally speaking in that language, again?

"Good thing I didn't." If I said anything about my past to him, I'm really gonna beat him up. "Did you tell Niya about this? That I spoke in that dialect?"

It's a good thing he knows.

"So what else happened? After the whole Filipino speaking time, what happened."

"Ayun, sinakay ka namin sa sasakyan. Tapos pinatulog sa balikat ko," Wait what?! "Tapos-"

"Hold the crap! What did you say?! I slept where?!" Tell me this guy is kidding me. I would never!

Wala namang malisya yun noh. As if I'll let you sleep on my shoulder that easy. Ginawa ko lang naman yun dahil sabi ni J. And for the record, ikaw pa lang ang nagiisang babaeng pinahiga ko sa balikat ko." The actual F?

"I'm never getting drunk again! Ever!" I don't believe this crap. I can't believe I slept on HIS shoulder like what?! "Forget about that? Let's go." Remember this Ali, never ever get drunk. Ever. You're putting yourself in shame.

Little Orange and I walked towards our classroom. Everyone was looking at me. "I told you she did it. Buti naman at hindi ka pinaalis, thanks to your sister." This bitch. But I saw this coming. That's why I was mad at Niya.

You know they will grant whatever Jaimee asks for kaya lumapit ka sa kanya."
