There's a crack, there's a crack running down the length of the walls I put up and I see light. Oh glorious light! I cannot even bear to look at it for I can feel the tears welling up in my eyes and I can feel my heart pounding in my chest and it is possible, my dear, that the glass has broken and the walls are falling and the darkness has lost and I can see the sunlight glittering across the dark-stained floors and wiping them with joy and pride.

A new era may be beginning and I cannot dream of better things.
