You used to speak to me like my mouth held the secrets of the darkest corners of the universe and my lips were the rings of Saturn in all their glory. Now we pass like asteroids in orbit and bury ourselves in black holes. And, my oh my, I am terrified that another star will shine or your moons will tangle themselves in your rings or suddenly not only I will claw my way through my darkness and you will look away for good. Because, darling, there are galaxies in the strands of your hair that I have not yet touched and solar flares in your eyes that I can only hope to see. And I know constellations litter your shaking tongue and I might as well tear out my vocal chords and wrap them around your throat if I cannot hear the worlds that you hide in your mind.
