Reunion Of The Fallen Angels Part 2

Chapter Nineteen

I missed out on the Idaho and Utah tours, because of my ribs, but I'm preforming tonight in a wheel chair. We love that.

"You don't have to play to-"

"Andy I'm fine" I smile, laughing a bit "all I have to do is play guitar, it doesn't require a lot of movement, besides I've missed more then I should've already"

"Okay" he sighs

"I can't believe I'm so dumb as to break my ribs"

"Yeah" he nods "You shouldn't skate for a-"

"I'm gonna skate as soon as I can again" I laugh and he rolls his eyes  "Just because you loose your voice for a while doesn't mean you stop singing forever, because your scared it's going to happen again"

"I guess your right" he nods "But don't skate bowls"

"Maybe I should ask one of the guys at Braille to teach me how to instead so I can learn how to better instead of not-"

"Your on in five, get ready" he manager says so Andy sighs

"Go to Jade and get your equipment, we can talk later" then he walks away

"Hey Jade" I smile and her face drops

"Your in a wheelchair! What happened??"

"I broke my ribs" I laugh a bit

"That's why you haven't been playing" she nods "I thought maybe you stopped Tour because your like... seventeen and your mom made you come home or something. No one ever told me!"

"Yeah" I nod "Skating incident"

"Well I hope you feel better!" She declares "But what do you need?"

"Thank you, um I'll have all acoustics, drop D, Drop C, tuned a step down, and standard."

"Need a capo?"

"Um.... sure" I shrug

She nods heading back, then rolls my head onto stage. When she heads back the lights are on, so she wheels me on instead of watching me struggle to push myself forward, then lowers my mic for me.

"Hi everyone!" I cheer "I didn't get to play at the last two stops, because I strained my rib skateboarding" I laugh a bit "But I'm happy I get to play tonight and I hope you all enjoy!"

Everyone cheers then I pick up my standard, starting with Royal Payale, Mr Doctor Man, then when the songs finished I changed to tuned down a step and play Bones Exposed, then put a capo on the eighth fret instead of changing to standard and putting it on sixth, then start strumming Bullet Proof Love by Pierce The Veil. The entire set I played some Bullet For My Valentine, Sleeping With Sirens, The Offspring, Three Oh Three, and Jimmy Eat World

"Thank you!" I shout "I hope you all have a wonderful night!"

I start trying to wheel myself forward again, then Jade wheels me off, and then gets the equipment, "thanks" I laugh

"Of course" She nudges my shoulder, then I wheel myself towards my break room

"Hey" I smile, going in

"Hey" everyone chants, looking at me kind of sadly, there probably just worried about my ribs

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah" I nod at Jake

"Good"

They all break off into there separate conversations, then I wobble over by Andy.

"You should sit-"

"My ass hurts" I tell him "Plus the pain is starting to come back because I haven't smoked. I didn't wanna preform high"
