boss: "Perfect. Welcome aboard again. We're so happy to have a fresh face here." (checks watch) "Well, I have a meeting in ten minutes that I have to prepare for. If you have any questions, your cubicle mate is just to your right."
y/n: "Thank you!"
boss: "Of course."
y/n: (whispers) "Wow... my own cube. My own computer. Oh my god."
cubicle mate: "It's all very exciting, isn' it?"
y/n: (turns around) "[Old crush]?"
old crush: "y/n? Woah. Wait, are you working here now?"
y/n: "Yeah, today's my first day. Do you... do you work here?"
old crush: "Just part-time. I'm on the phones for customer service. Wow. Fate, huh?"
y/n: (nervous laughter)
old crush: "Hey, later we should grab lunch."
y/n: "Oh, I brought my lunch today."
old crush: "Okay. I can buy lunch, then bring it back here to eat with you."

old crush: "Great!" (phone rings) "Gotta answer that. Customer first."
y/n: "Of course." (whispers) "Why..."
