I wake up to the feeling of light kisses being planted along my shoulder and an arm loosely wrapped around my waist.

"Good morning," I smile as I turn around to face my mate.

"Morning," Xavier smiles back as he places one last kiss on my shoulder before getting up and lazily walking into the bathroom.

I sit up properly and run my hand through my hair trying to wake up fully.

The rain is still pattering against the window just like it was last night except now I can hear birds singing and adolescent wolves training...I should probably start training soon if I'm going to be the Luna.

I rub my eyes and force myself to get up and pick out an outfit for the day, I don't even know what I'm meant to do all day since I'm not officially the Luna so I just choose a casual outfit, blue jeans and a plain black top, and patiently wait for Xavier to come out of the shower.

10 minutes later Xavier exits the bathroom wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist making my wolf howl so I quickly grab my clothes and rush into the bathroom. I don't know what time it is so I quickly turn on the shower and wash my hair.

The Luna ceremony is in just under 2 weeks now, which I know is late, but it still feels as though it's all happening too soon but my wolf is ready I just need to let go and be myself but I can't do that until I get to say goodbye to my pack. Yet I don't know if I can do that either.

"Boo!" Xavier screams as the bathroom door is swung open.

I scream and pull the towel off the top of the shower curtain and wrap it around myself even though Xavier can't see me.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I screech.

"Just came to tell you it's almost 8:30 and I want to show you something," he says as if he didn't just come into the bathroom and scare the shit out of me.

"Okay well...can you leave?" I ask rhetorically.

I hear him chuckle quietly and then the bathroom door shuts and I quickly jump out and lock it before finishing my shower.

"Okay well what did you want to show me?" I say as I step out of the bathroom fully dressed and ready for the day.

"Follow me," Xavier smiles excitedly, like a little kid on Christmas Day.

He leads me down the hall to the empty room next to his office and opens the door making my mouth drop in surprise.

It's no longer an empty room.

"What is this?" I ask, curious as to how an entire room was decorated in barely 2 days

"What is this?" I ask, curious as to how an entire room was decorated in barely 2 days.

"It's your office," Xavier says, "I know you aren't officially Luna yet but you almost are and you can still get time alone in here when you need it even if you don't have work to do yet."

I wrap my arms around Xavier's waist and tightly hug him.

"Thank you," I mumble.

He kisses the top of my head lightly, "you're welcome love."

Suddenly I remember what I was thinking about in the shower before I was rudely interrupted.

"Xavier can I ask you something?" I ask.

"Sure, let's sit down," he says guiding me to the grey chairs in the centre of the room.

He stares into my eyes and patiently waits for me to talk.

"I need to go back to my pack, before I can become the Luna of this one, I feel as though I never properly left, I had no choice but to run." I explain.

"Of course you can, would you like to go the night of the Luna Ceremony is over? Before you have to start on your duties?" He asks.

I think about it for a moment, that would work, it would be a good night to finally say goodbye to my family.

"Yes, thank you," I say quietly, still tired somehow even after sleeping 8, almost 9, hours.

"Now can it be my turn to ask a question?" He asks.

"Sure, go ahead," I say.

"Why were you reading a book about hybrids in the library?" He questions, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, as he stares at me trying to figure it out.

"What? How do you know that? I was alone." I ask suddenly extremely confused and a little scared. Had someone been watching me that whole time?

"You left it on the chairs and one of the pack members informed me as you left in such a hurry." He explains.

Oh, that makes sense, it's still creepy though.

"I just had some...suspicions after you said it was strange that Justin calls us Alpha and Luna." I tell him.
His eyes lit up in realisation before he quickly stands up and says to me, "you don't think Justin is a hybrid do you?"

"I don't know I spoke to him and he says he doesn't know who his mother is and his father told him he shouldn't exist. What kind of father is he?" I exclaim angrily, clasping my hands together tightly in my lap.

"You don't think he actually could be...a hybrid do you?" I ask Xavier.

"There's only one way to find out since he's years away from the shifting age," Xavier tells me.

"We have to find his father," We day in unison as we stare at each other worriedly.

A/N- it feels like only 2 days ago this story only had 300 or so reads and now it has 1000, I don't know where all the sudden readers came from but thank you so much for reading this book! I hope you are enjoying it and I will try to write as much as I can while I'm in the middle of my exams.
