Wisdom teeth - Jonah Marais

Jonah's POV

I walked into a dentist room to see my girlfriend, Y/n, who just got out of a wisdom teeth removal.

"Hey love," I said as I walked into the room.

"Jonah," she sobbed. I laughed at the side effect she was having.

"Yes baby girl?" I asked with a smile.

"Where's Zachy?" She asked. Zach's her younger brother, that's how we met.

"He's right here," I said as Zach walked through the door.

"Zachy," She said as more tears fell. Zach hugged her and kissed her cheek.

"Hi Y/n," he welcomed.

"I missed you guys," she sobbed.

"You were only in surgery for an hour love," I said and held her hand.

"No, it was longer," she sobbed.

"No it wasn't love," I said with a small laugh.

"Hey, why are you laughing at me?" She said, still sobbing.

"I'm not laughing at you," I explained.

"Yes you are."

"Just relax baby," I said and kissed her forehead.

"But I can't when you're laughing at me," she said as a fresh tears rolled down her cheeks. I wiped some tears away as they fell and placed a soft kiss on her lips.

"Babes, I'm not laughing at you," I said calmly. She nodded and took a shaky breath. "Breath love, crying doesn't do you any good."

She nodded and took more shaky breaths.

I kissed the back of her hand gently and smiled.

"Y/n's good to go when she's ready," a nurse said.

"Ok, thank you," I replied.

"Are you ready to go home?" Zach asked Y/n. She nodded with a pouty lip. I helped her stand up then I helped her walk to the car.

I got into the back with her while Zach got into the driver seat.

I did her seatbelt up then did mine. She rested her head on my shoulder and I played with her hair.

"Jo jo?" She asked quietly.

"Yes baby girl?" I asked.

"Will you ever love another girl?" She asked as she looked at me.

"Yes, I will," I replied. She started crying but I quickly kissed her forehead. "And she'll call you mommy."

"You scared me," she sobbed then hugged me.

"I'm sorry love," I replied. I played with her hair gently and tried to calm her down.

"I want a baby," she sobbed. I looked at her in shock.

"You what?" I asked. Zach just laughed at my reaction.

"I want to hold a baby, they're so cute," she sobbed again.

"Love, we're way too young," I said and kissed her forehead.

"But I want to hold a baby," she complained.

"How about I get you a teddy bear and you can hold that instead," I tried to reason. She slowly nodded her head sadly. She clung to my waist and cuddled into my side. "I love you baby girl," I whispered.

"I love you too," she said then slowly fell asleep.

"I knew she'd be emotional," Zach said with a laugh.

"Yeah, that's ok though. It's cute when she's emotional," I said with a smile.

"Ok, that was cheesy," Zach said and cringed.

"Oh shut it Herron," I said with a playful laugh. "You and Kay are probably the same way."

That caused him to blush and I just laughed.

*at home*

I carried Y/n inside and laid her down on the couch.

"What was her reaction?" Jack asked.

"Emotional, she said she wanted a baby to hold so I said I'd get her a teddy bear instead," I said with a small laugh.

"You better go get that teddy bear then," Daniel said. I nodded then grabbed my car keys and left.

When I was at the store I found the biggest and cuddliest teddy bear I could find, then brought it back home.

When I walked into the house Y/n was crying and Zach was comforting her.

"I want Jonah," she sobbed.

"Oh thank god, she's been sobbing for you for the past 10 minutes," Zach said. I quickly swapped places with Zach and held Y/n in my arms.

"Shhh, I'm here now love, it's ok," I soothed.

"Where were you?" She cried.

"I was getting you a present," I answered. I grabbed the teddy bear and put it on the floor, it was way too big to put on the couch with us.

"Aww, I love it," she said then started crying again. She hugged me and sobbed into my chest while I held her tightly.

"Do you want to go to sleep baby?" I asked gently. She shook her head. "Ok, if you get tired tell me love." This time she nodded.

I leaned back on the couch and Y/n sat on my lap and cuddled into me.

She slowly drifted off to sleep. "I'm going to bring her to bed," I whispered to the other guys. They all nodded then I lifted Y/n into my arms.

I brought her into our bedroom and laid her down on the bed. I laid down beside her and wrapped her in my arms. "I love you baby girl."
