Lily's POV
I pulled on Jonah's hand as I tried to get him into the ice rink.
"Come on babe! It's not that hard," I said with a giggle.
"Hey! I've been living in California for years and I have barely even seen what ice is," he joked. I rolled my eyes with a smile.
"Come on scaredy cat."
"Oh, you did not just go there," he said with a smirk.
"Oh I think I did."
Jonah started chasing me but I went onto the ice rink, he came on without realizing and fell onto his butt. We both laughed then I helped him up.
"Thank you baby," he said and pecked my cheek. I giggled.
"You're welcome," I replied. I pulled him by his hands and helped him skate across the ice.
"Do a trick," he told me. I nodded with a smile. I let go of his hands and made sure that nobody was in my way then started skating quickly to prepare for my jump.
I lifted myself off of my feet and started twisting my body.
When I went to land my legs got tangled with each other.
I felt my body slam against the ice then my head.
Everything went black.

I woke up to see a very bright light.
"J-Jonah," I mumbled. I closed my eyes tightly to keep the light out.
"I'm right here baby girl," I heard a soft voice say. I felt a dip in the bed next to my torso.
I opened my eyes to see Jonah sitting on the bed, facing me with a smile. I smiled at him and he looked at me with glossy eyes.
He finally hugged me and broke down into my arms.
"Shh baby, it's ok, I'm here," I held him tightly and rubbed his back.
"You were in a coma for so long, I thought I lost you," he sobbed. I just gently kissed the top of his head and played with his hair.
We slowly pulled away and he placed a soft but passionate kiss on my lips.
"How long was I out?" I asked.
"4 months," he replied with a sad smile. I smiled softly and gently caressed his face.
"Don't worry baby, I'm here forever now, and I don't plan on leaving."
