Chapter 9: first day

I really analyzed what happened over the night, just thinking back it shouldn't have went that far. I mean he was being so jerk off-ish. I still want to at-least TRY counseling. I refuse to bring another child into this chaotic mess. It will no longer be chaotic because if counseling does work , everything should be fine.

Khalil's overwhelmed head lays upon the crook of my neck. I remove his head and get up to wash my face and brush my teeth. I wake the kids up making them brush their pearly white teeth. I fix a little breakfast for the kids before they go to school and daycare. I make Tylen's favorite peach oatmeal and Taylor's favorite yogurt.

Khalil comes downstairs in a pair of grey sweats and no shirt. He makes his self comfortable on the couch turning on Martin.

"I'll be back im going to drop off the kids. Be ready when I get back"

Ardd , bring back something to eat.

I call khalil outside to the car so we can head to counseling. khalil comes outside with those black shades that hide his emotions and a pair of jeans with a BVSED shirt and pair of Jordan's.

My mom "U GUESSED IT" by og maco comes on. I turn it up really loud and repeat the words. Khalil's favorite part comes on.

"Walking round with extras in my pocket , bitch you next to us , why the hell you next to us?"

We keep the verses going by repeating after each other.

brynn:I seen what you rocking and nigga you can't dress with us.

"BITCH YOU GUESSED IT! WOOO"

The song goes off. khalil and I look at each other and burst out laughing. These moments I cherish , when we're happy and not arguing.

We finally arrive at the office. The assistant calls us back to Dr.kris. As we enter through Dr.kris's office khalil reluctantly sits down making a scene.

"So , nice meeting you two. I am Dr.kris, you must be brynn , and you are khalil"

Yes, nice to meet you.

Khalil nods his arrogant head and slides a fake smile to Dr.kris.

"Okay so who wants to go first ? my ears are open!"

Khalil side eyes me and tilts his head for me to go first.

"Okay so I have a problem with him not understanding how I feel inside every time he cheats or flirts. it's like he doesn't get it. sometimes I think back to when we first met"

Okay , what happened when you two first met says Dr.kris with curiosity in her voice.

"When we first met this girl (Malaysia ) was really close with khalil. I mean I didn't really know him like that - we we're only dating for 3 months so of course I didn't think anything of it. little did I know they were kind of more than friends well at-least what she (Malaysia ) said. "

Continue , I want to get to the florid your problem. it sounds like built up anger. says Dr.kris.

"Okay so like two months later I got a photo of them two at a restaurant a lil to close. and like a week later she confronts me saying she's pregnant with his child. Of course my first reaction was break it off because who wants to be a home wrecker ?"

"Then , we both found out that it wasn't his. Then, Another girl (kylia) comes along. with a 'fake ' baby, that also wasn't his. Still to this day she doesn't know who the father is. Khalil thinks it's because he was in the start of his basketball career and she probably needed money."

Wow, this is interesting. okay so your problem stems from the repetition of girls along the way. What is your goal for further sessions ? and khalil , sir, it is your turn to explain your side.

As dumb as I think this session is , I'm still going to participate. I mean I know it's gonna do some good in our relationship.

"Okay so , I have a problem with Brynn being flirtatious. I mean I know she good looking but damn it seems like every time we start arguing she go out hoeing. I know she probably not doing anything but still , she does it every time."

Okay continue the counselor says.

" And when Brynn gets mad she throws up the 'taking away the children' scenario. Do you know how it feels to have your children taken away from you ? I mean I made those children, They're my flesh and blood. That shit is aggravating ."

Counselor: It seems like both of you to have built up hurt and anger inside. a way to release this anger is communication. You guys need to work on saying something positive to one another. Wake up in the morning saying how beautiful she is , or how fine he looks. Better yet, I have a activity chart. Every time you say or do something negative mark it. you can come up with a consequence also. next time you come back bring the chart and I'll have a exercise planned for you. Brynn you need to work on trusting khalil and forgiving the women in the past. KhAlil you need to work on treating Brynn like she is all you have. cut off the other woman, okay ?

"Soo what do you want to do ? the kids aren't home...and "

Brynn climbs on top of me bitting my bottom lip. She slowly grinds her hips on me. looking her in her eyes I take her small ass up the stairs.

"I thought you didn't wanna have sex for a while?"

Yeah,yeah.

"Okay whatever you say"

Ten minutes into our sex the doorbell rings with banging ; loud banging. of course brynn panicking , putting on her robe as fast as lighting speed. I throw on my sweatpants and head downstairs to the door. Brynn walks behind me slowly looking over my shoulder. I proceed to open the door and the door opens swiftly with Tammy standing angrily.

Brynn walks upstairs to the bathroom while I talk to tammy. Tammy is cursing me out in Spanish and yelling at me for no apparent reason; in my house !

"Calm down ,you in my house "

WHY HAVENT YOU BEEN ANSWERING YOUR PHONE ? I was calling you, member you promised me that you'll take me to the doctors ?

"I had other stuff planned with my wife. Now, is there anything else that you need or possibly want ? "

YOU NEED to step UP and be the FATHER of this child we're having tammy says with a turbulent attitude.

"I told you all I can do is take care of him. There isn't going to be a relationship between you and I. "

If your are going to treat our child like this I might as well give it up or better yet abort it.

"Yeah ,okay I wish you would. I dare you , you'll never want to show your fucking face to me ever again. "

I'm not ! YOU NEED TO treat it like your other kids!

Brynn comes downstairs in jeans and a polo tank top walking out the door. Tammy continues to yell at me but i ignore here wondering where Brynn is going.

"Okay you need to leave. I'm tired of hearing you mouth and smelling your annoying fishy perfume"

EXCUSE ME ? you wasn't saying that when you were fucking me ? oh that's what I thought.

"I'm pretty sure this 'pregnancy ' is a scam because I never fucked you. but if it's a baby then whatever, you need to leave the door is right there."

I lead tammy to the door and go change since brynn is waiting for me outside. We pick up the kids and head back home after getting something to eat.

We watch a movie and proceed our separate ways for the night.
