NEXT MORNING

You awake around 12 p.m. You go downstairs and eat some lunch. Halfway through your meal you remember what Carlos had asked: "Are you guys gonna have a baby shower?"

*Y/N POV*
I should probably speak to Alex about that

You finish eating your lunch and head upstairs. You grab your phone and call Alex

Alex: Hey

Y/n: Hello. Sooo I thought it would be a good idea if maybe we could have a baby shower!!!

Alex: Yes that's a great idea! We could also make it a gender reveal

Y/n: Omg yes! I'll speak to my mom and see if she's willing to help host it

Alex: Ok. I'm sure my mom wouldn't be down. She's still pretty pissed about yesterday....

Y/n: Your mom called my mom and told her. Mine didn't freak out as bad...well she didn't really freak out at  all. Just a bit hurt I didn't come to her.

Alex: Oh :/. Wanna catch a movie later?

Y/n: Sure :)

Alex: Ok. Text me which movie you wanna see.

Y/n: Ok I'll look. Love you

Alex: Love you too bby. Bye

Y/n: Byyee

Suppose I should go talk to my mom....

You walk out of your room and down the hall. You pause when you reach your mom's door.

*Y/N POV*
Deep breaths Y/n, deep breaths. 1, 2, 3

You knock on her door

Y/m: Come in!

You open the door

Y/n: Hey mom....

Y/m: ....Hello mija

Y/n: Um so Alex and I think that it would be fun to have a baby shower/ gender reveal party. We were wondering if maybe you would like to help.

Y/m: *Sighs* Ofc

Y/n: Thank you so much mom *you hug her* ik this is a lot for you

Y/m: *She sits there for a second before hugging you back* I love you. You'll be a great mother

Y/n: I love you too mom

You guys sit like that for a minute before you return to your room.

You go on the movie theater website and search for a movie. You settle on The Curse of La Llorona at 8 p.m.

TEXT MSGS BETWEEN YOU AND ALEX

Y/n: How about The Curse of La Llorona? The showing is at 8 p.m.

Alex: Ooh ok. I'll come pick you up at 7:40?

Y/n: Sounds good😊
