"Hello? Earth to Maine?" Melida waves her hand in front of my face trying to get my attention.

"Oh what?"

"I was asking if you like this pink and white polka dot balloon or this plain pink one." She was holding up one of each.

"What does it say on the list." I said putting back a package of white tissue paper on the rack.

"Umm it just says balloons."

"Then why did you choose pink?" I laughed

"I don't know, you know what I'll just get yellow."

"Okay." I smiled.

Why should I care if he's dating someone.

He can do anything he wants for all I care!

"As much as this whole situation is confusing. I still had fun getting all these stuff." She smiles holding one paper bag full of party decoration on each hand.

I was holding only one but it was heavier than the other two.

"Do you want to be a party designer?"

"Yeah. How did you know?" She looked up.

"I don't know you just had good taste on picking the decorations."

"Really?" It was like her face started glowing.

I guess I was right.

The rest of the walk to the company Melida told me that all she ever wanted was to be a party designer. But her dad was strict and wanted her to work in business.

Melida's dad was a weak man, his heart was weak ever since he was born.

Melida doesn't like disappointing his dad so she does his every command.

It's quiet sad actually.

"That was actually fun." She smiled as soon as we entered the building.

I've never seen Melida look so happy before.

"Hey guys how'd it go?" Riley asked.

"It was fun." I smiled looking at Melida who was smiling.

Scarlett was dealing with a customer. "Where do we put these?" I asked Riley.

"Oh just put them back here. Mr. Rose's assistant will pick them up later." She said pointing at the back of the front table.

Mr. Rose is an assistant who has an assistant. Does Mr. Rose's assistant have an assistant as well?

I'm so confused.

"Hey Jack how do you do this?" I asked.

"Why don't you ask Melida?" He said.

"I already did, but she said this was your specialty so she told me to ask you." I said.

"I see." He said looking at Melida who was wearing her headphones listening to music while working.

"Oh I get it now. Thanks." I smiled. I was about to get back to work when our door to our office room opened.

It was Riley.

Everyone paused at what they were doing and we all looked at her.

"Hey guys sorry to disturb you but I need to borrow Maine." She smiled apologetically.
