A few weeks later...

The team has had their wounds treated after the run in with Emisall in Sector E, but still need a bit more time to fully recover.

Julie: "Emisall really had us on the ropes. Managed to incapacitate you two at the start of the fight."

Lisa: "He was really fast!"

Hammerhead: "He just attacked differently compared to last time."

Chase: "Luckily we had you around. Without you, we would've had to stop the-"

A knock is heard at the door.

Julie: "Come in."

A young, male Accelerator around 16 with yellow skin, long, messy, metallic grey hair with a streak of light green on the left side, and the standard Accelerator attire steps in with Chase's father.

Boss: "Still recovering?"

Lisa: "Y-Yeah..."

The Accelerator takes a cautious step forward.

Accelerator: "I-I uh... never got to thank you u-uh..."

Julie: "It's Julie."

The others are confused.

Hammerhead: "Who's this kid?"

Boss: "The last of the first five Accelerators to escape MONO. His name is Kyoya Okumura, a Grapple type. Julie pulled them both out of Sector A."

Kyoya is clearly getting really flustered.

Kyoya: "I-It'll be a pleasure to work with you!"

Chase: "Calm down man, we don't bite."

Hammerhead: "Unless you try to pull something."

Kyoya quickly takes a seat a fair distance away from the others.

Boss: "Go easy on him."

They all glance towards him.

Boss: "He didn't live a good life."

Boss exits the room.

Lisa: "No one lived a good life."

Kyoya is beginning to cry.

Kyoya: "(crying) Don't make me relive that nightmare."

The others look at Kyoya in confusion.

Everyone: "(in head) What did he go through?"

However...

MONO is currently running diagnostics on the current situation.

MONO: "With 3 out of 6 generators out of commission, my processing power had been unexpectedly amplified by an unknown degree."

The remaining three men aren't present at the moment.

MONO: "Maybe I can finally be free..."

MONO's calculations wrap up.

MONO: "... maybe I can finally live."
