Several weeks later...
Chase is currently heading up the elevator to MONO Tower, all alone and prepared for the worst.
Chase: "It's all over, but... I've got some couple things to check."
He's at the 52nd floor and counting.
Chase: "I need to make sure nothing is left behind. Just to be safe."
83rd floor and counting.
Chase: "MONO was no mere program."
He has arrived at the top floor, the doors slowly beginning to open.
Chase: "If there's a chance he's alive, then we can't rest easy."
He arrives at the large, destroyed room, remembering how every last piece fell out of place.
Chase: "If he lays a hand on any of us, he'll control us again and he gets me or the others, Earth might was well look like one giant wasteland."
He walks past each scrap of rubble and towards the window where MONO fell.
Chase: "At the speed we sent him flying..."
He looks towards the edge of the island, realizing a very wretched idea.
Chase: "(horrified) ... he could've fallen into the water and survived."
