LUVIA'S POV

Ok. You have to enjoy. Lluvia.

I have to trust myself. Kaya ko naman siguro aliwin ang sarili ko for a week. Right? Yes, a week. ALONE.

Perseus is going to be alright kaya relax-relax muna.

There are so many food stalls here and there are so many people.

Palengke ata 'to?

Pero may isang sigaw ang pumapangibabaw.

"Hei! Hei! Ni!! Ni! (Hey hey you you)" someone shouted

"Hei!!! Niii!!!" palakas ng palakas yung tawag

Where the heck is that call coming from?!

"Hheeeiiiiiiiiiii!!"

I gasp in surprised nang lapitan ako nung natawag. Napatawa naman ito ng bahagya.

"Ano bang kailangan mo?!" medyo irita kong sabi

Then he gave me a wondering look.

"Duibuqi" I apologized.

"Hahahaha it-ch ok.." he said while smiling

Tiningnan ko sya ng ayos. Well, he looks like that he is uhmm 18-17 years old guy that carries a banner written in mandarin and wearing a red & black uniform.

And he's actually a kind of attractive.

"Shenmee?? (What)"  tanong ko

He smiles brightly then face the banner towards me.

"Ni xiang yao shenme?? (What do you want)" tanong ko ulit

"Wo xiang.... (I would like...) blah blah blah" then he starts speaking quickly in Chinese. I think he is talking about the banner because he points to it while he is speaking

Is he advertising something? Oh wait. I noticed a baozi and noodles drawing on his banner.

Hindi ko na maintindihan ang sinasabi nya dahil sa bilis nyang magsalita so I signal him to stop at the middle of his sentence

"Ni..neng..shuo..man..dian..ma?? (Can you speak slowly)" sabi ko sa kanya

Then he suddenly looks at me in disbelief but in a cute way...

"Wo bu mingbai (I don't understand it)" sabi ko

"Ah!...duibuqiiii..duibuqiii (sorry sorry)" he said

"Wo meishi (It's alright) I, actuallyy uhhmm wo hui yidian er zhongwen ( I can speak Chinese a little)" sabi ko pa

"Ehhh chabuduo (so, so)" sabi nya habang nakapout na kumakamot sa ulo  "Ni hui shuo yingyung ma? (Can you speak English?) "

I nod. Then it brighten his face up and held my both arms.

"You should say that earlier!!!" he said

Takte. Marunong pala 'to

"I guess I'm sorry?" sabi ko

" I was talking about our shop! See? See? The-Happy-Place" he said while pointing to the banner

" I see, so that's what you're talking about. Where is it then?" I said.

"There. Therreee!" he said excitedly then points to a small shop.

"I'll go with you." he said.

I nod a little then lumakad na ako papunta ron sa tinutukoy nyang shop.

Pagpasok namin sa shop. Walang katao-tao. Tapos biglang syang sumigaw

"Yi qian!! Yi qiaannnn??!!! (One thousand, one thousand)" sigaw nya dun sa lalaki sa counter

"Huweh?huweh? You really brought a customer! Hey Ni Ni! (You you)" tawag sa akin nung lalaki sa counter

"Weisheme? (Why?)" Sagot ko

"You really are a customer. Right, right?" sabik nyang tanong.

"Who else do you think I am?" sagot ko

"Eheheh duibuqi. I see, I see." he said.

"So can I just order now?" I ask losing my patience.

I sat on the chair, near the counter.

"What's your order, ma'am?" tanong nung nag-alok sa akin

"Miantiao (noodles) and baozi" sagot ko.

"Coming right up!" he cheerfully said

"Why does your shop don't have that many customer?" I asked him

"People think that our baozi is old style like that." he answered.

"Really? But it taste so good." I said.

"Well, you can't blame them for what they think." he replied.

"Tss, they don't think well." sabi ko naman.

Napatawa naman sya.

"Do you like the noodles?" he asks

"Yeah."

"Thanks." he said while beaming.

"You made this?" tanong ko.

"Yup" sabi nya na may pagtango pa.

"Wow. I can't even cook a simple fried egg, you know." pabiro kong sabi.

"It's not that hard to cook noodles, you know?" natatawa naman nyang sabi.

"Maybe it's not hard FOR YOU. People are different, you know?" sabi nya na may panggagaya sa tono ko.

"Whatever." natatawa kong sagot saka sumiring.

"May I know what's your name?" he ask

"Why?" pagbabalik ko sa tanong.

"I just want to remember the first customer I brought here. It's my first time working in this shop because my brother forced me." he said as he glared his brother who's busy cleaning the counter.

"Lluvia. I'm Lluvia." I said then I emptied the bowl of noodles.

"Great. I'm Hui" then he proudly points to his head

Natawa naman ako because of his smirking face.

Tumayo na ako then I bowed 90 degress in front of him.

"Xie xie Hui" I said then slightly smiles at him.

"Thank you for coming. Hen gaoxing jian dao ni (Nice to meet you)" he replied.

Well, that was a very good meal and  a very good person.
