PERSEUS' POV
Nag-iimpake na ulit kami ng mga damit ko para makauwi na ako. Yup, my condition is all better now after three days but they give me some medication if my head will suddenly ache again.
"Hey Lluvia, thank you for looking out for Perseus. Ang dami ko kasing inasikasong papeles sa company." sabi ng isang pamilyar na boses
Hindi na ako nag-abala pang lumingon dahil busy ako sa pag-aayos ng kamang ginamit ko.
"No problem with that Tita." rinig ko namang sambit ni Andromeda
After fixing the bed all by myself. I turn around to look at them. I felt a bit awkward...
"I-im r-ready.." utal ko pang sabi
"Good, now let's go home and rest ourselves." sabi ni Esme— este Mom.
I still can't believe that she is my Mom after remembering those memories.. I still can't believe that I already forgiven her that easily.
"Uhm." I agreed as I nod.
Paglabas namin ng Hospital isang mukhang mamahaling kotse ang tumapat sa amin kaya napaawang ang labi ko.
"It's the Mercedes Benz Maybach Exelero." Mom proudly said.
Calling her Mom makes me cringe. I think I just need to be get to used to it.
"Wait. How the heck will Perseus' things fit in that car?!" sabi ni Andromeda.
"May ibang kotse ang magdadala ng mga gamit nya." sagot ni Mom
Pumasok na sya sa may passenger seat since may personal driver naman pala sya at ako naman ay sa may backseat..
Hinihintay kong pumasok si Andromeda but she remains standing there.
"Hey my Andromeda, what are you waiting for?" tanong ko sa kanya.
But all she do is give me a blank stare.
"Perseus, iba daan natin sa kanya, ok?" sabi naman sa akin ni Mom na nagpakunot ng noo ko.
"What?" I confusedly asked.
"Perseus son, your going home with me. Hindi ba nya sinabi? Napag-usapan na kasi namin 'to kagabi." she stated.
"No. I want to stay with her. Sino na lang ang makakasama nya sa apartment nya? I don't want to leave her alone." sabi ko naman.
She did not answer and all she do is sigh. I know how much she wants to pay me back but...
Lumabas ako sa kotse at lumapit muli sa nakakunot-noong si Andromeda.
"What?" casual nyang tanong.
"I wanna stay with you.." agad kong sabi
"No you can't." she simply answered.
"Bakit? Bakit ka kasi pumayag nung nag-usap kayo?" I iritately said.
"She's your Mom, Perseus. Wala akong karapatan na tumanggi. She has the rights to be with you." sabi nya naman.
"Pero—"
"I'm just your nothing. Hindi mo na ako responsibilidad. You are no longer virtual, Perseus. Your life depends on you now." dagdag pa nya na hindi man lang pinapatapos ang sasabihin ko.
"No! You're not just no—" thing
Before I could say anything else para kontrahin ang mga sinabi nya ay bumusina na ang kotse.
"You should go now, Perseus..." she said then smiled.
I quickly hug her tight then smile back to her.
"Tss, parang hindi na tayo magkikita, a. Go now, see you when I see you.." paalam nya.
Ngumiti ako muli at bumalik na sa kotse.
Tahimik ang naging byahe namin hanggang sa itinigil ito ng driver sa isang napakalaking bahay— mansion pala na napapalibutan ng nagsisitaasang bakod.
"Welcome home, Perseus." nakangiting sabi ni Mom as we get inside of the mansion.
This place is so big that it can be compared to a mall with a chandelier on it's center and a fancy fountain outside.
"Kung ano man ang naririto sa bahay. Sayo rin yan, ok?" sabi nya sa akin.
"Is this what you get from the money you stole from the gamers?" I frankly said referring to the death game she made.
Natigil naman sya at unti-unting nawala ang kanyang ngiti.
"P-perseus. About that, I'm trying to give back to all the gamers the money they spent for the game. Kung ano mang nakikita mong yan ngayon galing yan sa iba kong pinagsikapan." she explained.
"Uhm.." sabi ko na lamang at tumango-tango habang nililibot ang tingin sa paligid.
"Come here, I'll show you where's your room.." sabi nya sabay niyaya ako sa taad.
Sumunod naman ako sa kanya sa may second floor ng bahay at grabe sobrang lawak ng kwarto ko na parang living room na nung apartment ni Andromeda.
Plus all the things here are complete. It has it's own bathroom, it's air-conditioned, there's a mini-ref, computer with a fancy swivel chair, 32 inches tv, speakers, a bed with a lamp on its side, two wardrobes and a shelf full of books.
"Hope you'll like it." nakangiting sabi ni Mom
"It is more than enough." sabi ko naman.
Napatawa naman sya ng bahagya sa sinabi ko.
She walks toward the shelf and reach for some book in it then walk back near me.
She hands me the book.
"What for?" tanong ko.
"Read the title."
"Living with the humans." I read out loud.
"Hahaha you know baka kasi—"
"Yeah I get it. Thank you."
Well, she's right. Makakatulong 'to para makitungo ako sa ibang tao ng tama baka kasi biglang may masabi ako na nakakaoffend or something or baka naman mamisunderstood ko sila.
"Meron pa nga pala." she added then hands me a phone
"For?" taka kong tanong.
"For communicating and other stuff. Baba na muna ako maghahanda ako ng pagkain, just call me or the maids if you want something." she said as she walks to leave the room.
Napaawang naman ang bibig ko habang nakatingin sa phone na binigay nya.
I know I've been stuck for a phone or some technology based device but how do you even use a phone manually?!
