Chapter 91: Full of Heck

LLUVIA'S POV

"What the heck are you doing here in the Philippines Hui? And when the heck did you arrived?" sunod-sunod kong tanong sa kanya

"Woah. There. I just arrived at here for like 2 hours ago. See?" he said as he shows me his bags.

Dun ko lang nga napansin na madami nga pala syang dala.

"Where are you heading to— ouch!" giit ko dahil bigla nyang binuhusan ng dala nyang alcohol ang tuhod ko.

Ripped jeans surely is a bad choice for me tonight.

"You look miserable hahaha" he jokingly said.

"Tss. I am miserable." sabi ko sabay punas ulit sa mga mata ko na basa pa.

Im sure that my eyeliner is ruined all over my eyes. Kalat na talaga 'to ng dahil sa kakaiyak ko.

"What is really going on?" he asked.

"That's my question either." sagot ko sa kanya pagkatapos ay hinablot ang tissue sa may side table.

Kasalukuyan kaming nasa bahay na sinasabi nyang vacation house nga daw nila dito sa Pilipinas na nasa same subdivision naman ng mansion ni Perseus.

It is few blocks away from their mansion.

Mas maliit naman ito compared sa tinutuluyan ko.

"What is really your deal here in the Philippines?" tanong ko ulit sa kanya

"My cousin invited me over here for dinner there in the mansion but seems like I'm too late for that. So I'll just explain it to her maybe tomorrow." he stated.

"Really? Nandayuhan ka lang para sa dinner?" tanong ko naman.

His forehead furrow and he looks at me with his confused eyes. That's when I realize na biglaan na naman pala ako sa kanya nagtagalog.

"I mean you just came over here for that dinner?" tanong ko sa kanya

Saka sino naman kaya ang cousin nya doon?

"No! I really made my grandpa upset about my performance in the restaurant 'cause I've been into trouble and I almost wrecked our restaurant."

"E-eh?"

"Psh, it's because some jerk really disrespect me and my noodles. I can't hold my anger anymore so I punched him on the face then he got upset and that's when the chaos start. My grandpa burst out of anger and that's when my cousin texted me so grandpa sent me off here alone as a punishment."

Really? Ano namang kaparu-parusa don?

"Alone and he doesn't give me any money. Now, I'm struggling with my few own allowance." he added.

Ahh ayun ang parusa.

"Who's your cousin, by the way?"  tanong ko sa kanya.

"Jane and guess what? She's getting married! She will be mad at me because she said that it'll be announce during that dinner." he answered.

Now I regret asking him that question. Akalain mo nga naman ang liit ng mundo.

"And did you know that she's the one who taught me how to cook noodles. She is very good at it and I swear that his husband will be really lucky to her." sabi pa nito.

Right. I can't hold back my tears anymore. I coverd my face with my two hands and sobs.

Ramdam ko naman ang kamay ni Hui na ngayon ay nakahawak na sa magkabilang balikat ko.

"Did I say s-something wrong? Why a-are you crying? H-hey.." he said with a worried tone and it really seems that he's concerned about me.

Naramdaman ko na lang na yakap na pala nya ako and that's when I felt a comfort from other arms.

"Curse this hecking night!" I shouted at the middle of my sobs.

Kahiya-hiya man ang naging pagdadrama ko kay Hui ay atleast gumaan na ngayon ang pakiramdam ko kahit papaano.

And I really appreciate how he comforts me even though I didn't mention the thing that really made me cry.

"It's already midnight. P-planning to get home?" he asked.

Midnight already? I lift my head to look at the clock and it's really 12:01

"A-ayoko." sagot ko dito.

I heard Hui chuckled. "I guess I have to learn your language, huh?" sabi nya at may ngisi pa sa mukha.

"S-sorry."

"It's okay. I really have to learn about your language since I have to find a work here to sustain my needs." he said.

Kasalukuyan kaming nasa kwarto nya at pinapanood ko syang maglagay ng damit sa closet nya as I hugged my own knee as I sat on his bed.

"Sleepy?" he asked

"Y-yeah." I said then yawn.

"You can sleep here." he said and approaches me with a smile on his face.

"Paano ka?" tanong ko.

He chuckled again, "Sorry what?"

Lagi ko na lang nakakalimutan na hindi nga pala nakakainitindi to ng tagalog.

"I m-mean, how about you?" pag-uulit ko.

"The bed is wide and I can sleep beside you." nakangisi nyang sabi

"Heck no." pagtanggi ko naman

"Just kidding." natatawa nyang sabi.

Hui is a good person. I can assure that he is not going to do bad things to me but it's just that—

Nakita ko naman ang pagod sa mga mata nya saka alam kong mas pagod sya kesa sa akin. Nakakaguilty naman kung hahayaan ko syang pagkasyahin ang sarili nya sa sofa.

"Hui. I'll just sleep on the couch. You can stay here in your bed." I said.

"No. I'm the one who's sleeping there. Your back might hurt so just feel the comfort of my bed. Ms. Lluvia." giit nya.

"N-no! You obviously needs more rest than me. It's okay for me really." I said.

He chuckled again at saka ginulo ang buhok ko na parang bata, "We both need a rest from this day full of heck."

Tama naman sya. So to be fair.

"Ok. Just sleep beside me but make sure you're not going to do jerky things ok?! Or else I'll give you a heck from my fist." banta ko sa kanya

Tumawa naman sya ng bahagya at pabiro pang tinaas ang parehas na kamay sa ere.

"Sure." he said and I let him tucked me in the bed.

Ramdam ko naman ang pag-ibo ng kabilang side ng kama which means nahiga na rin sya.

"And H-hui..please don't turn off the lights please..." mahinang sambit ko saka pinikit ang mata ko.

"Sure, goodnight."
