What a boring day.
Hindi ako payagan ni Tita Helia na bumista sa lab dahil sa kung anong natapon na chemical doon.
Pwede naman kasi akong magsuot ng some protective garment para doon but it just happens that there are only three available.
Sapat lang yon for Tita Helia with the weird-messy-haired assitant of hers and lastly for TITA Esmeralda.
Yes, I have to call her Tita. 'Coz she is the goddamn Mother of Perseus! Baka isipin nya wala akong galang sa sarili nyang ina.
Come on, she's also my future mother-in-law. *winks hahaha*
My phone vibrates. May notification dito.
Online si Calix at Leica but Leica is the one who chatted me.

Shit. There's nothing inside. I thought kasama yun sa binayaran ko dito.
Aahhh shittt.
5 days pa rito ang itatagal ko e. I should go to some grocery store here to buy some foods or I'll gonna die soon.
"Duibuqi, darao yixia. Zuijin de gouwu zhong xin zai nali? Zahou dian? (Excuse me. Where is the nearest shopping mall? Grocery Store?)" tanong ko run sa isang worker dito sa hotel bago lumabas.
"Guo malu, you zhuan, zhi zou (Cross the street, turn right, go straight)" she said.
"Xie xie" pagpapasalamat ko.
Sinunod ko ang sinabi sa akin at matagumpay naman akong nakarating.
"Errr, where can I find the food section..." mahinang sambit ko sa sarili
Geez, hindi ko na tanda bumasa ng Chinese Characters. Paano na 'to?
"H-hei..Na' 'er..s-shiwa (where food)" tanong ko dun sa lalaking nakatalikod na nag-aayos ng kung anong paninda.
I don't think my grammar is right. Nakapraning, naliliyo na ako sa intsik na sulat na mga 'to.
Pagharap nung lalaki...
"Hui?"
"Hey we meet again..." nakangiti nyang bati
"Are you working here too?" tanong ko
Napatingin sya sa paligid tapos tinuro ang sarili nya.
"Me, here? Bushi ( no) bushi!! ( no)" pagtanggi nito
"Oh.. Sorry. I thought you're-"
"Im too lazy to work for two place, Lluvia." he said then laughs.
"At least you work for one. You're not lazy at all. You know?" I said.
"You're the only one who've told me that, you know" he said emphasizing the word 'you know' tapos gaya pa sa tonong pagkakabanggit ko.
Instead of getting intimated because of him, imitating my tone. Napatawa na lang ako.
"Buying some grocery?" tanong nya habang nakatitig sa empty basket na hawak ko.
"Yeah."
"Wanna buy groceries together? Well, it looks like you really need my accompaniment here." he offered.
Nice! Sa wakas, pambawas lituhin.
"It's a great idea. I've been struggling here finding the food section." I said.
Nagderetso kami sa part ng mga gulay rito.
"I think your Chinese had gone bad. Lately, you even ask me with the wrong grammar." banggit nya
"Hu-weh? Sorry. I'm not really used to this. I even forgot how to read Chinese Characters" sabi ko
"R-really?"
"Do I sounds like Im joking?" I sacastically asked
"I can't believ-" Napatigil sya sa pagkuha nung last one na cereal tapos...
Tumawa sya ng tumawa to the point na halos nakapikit na ang mga singkit nyang mata.
"Just laugh as you can." sabi ko sa kanya at inunahan sya dun sa nag-iisang cereal na dapat kukuhanin nya.
at doon nga sya natigilan.
"H-hey that was supposed to be mine!" he said.
Tatawa-tawa naman akong bumelat sa kanya.
"That's what you get when you mess up with this girl, YOU KNOW." asar ko sa kanya.
Nakangiti naman syang napailing.
"It's ok. Just take it." he said then laughs again.
Natapos na kaming maggrocery at sabi nya ihahatid na daw nya ako nung malaman na sa may malapit na hotel lang ako nakatira.
"It's okay. Really, I can walk home by myself" I said
"I insist." giit nya.
Wala akong nagawa.
Natigil na kami nung nasa tapat na ako ng hotel.
"So uhmm..bye?" he said
"You didn't have to do this but anyway thank you, Hui. You really helps me a lot. I swear." sabi ko naman.
"You're Lluvia so your welcome" sagot nya.
"Why are you so kind to me?" tanong ko naman.
It's unusual that I met a person this kind despite that it's only our second time seeing each other.
"Because you're special for me?" he responded
I raise my one eyebrow, confused by what he said.
"I m-mean.. your my special friend! Since you are my first customer!" he added. "But who knows if it'll be more than being just for a friend?"
"Whatever. I'm warning you because I'll kick your ass when it goes beyond that." sabi ko naman.
"I'm just kidding!" sabi naman nya saka tumawa ulit.
Tinalikuran na nya ako saka pumara ng taxi but before he get inside, he smiled playfully then wink at me.
