I'm so sorry I missed posting this weekend! On Friday I was at San Diego Comic Con all day, and Saturday was my 22nd birthday. While I resolved to carve out time to edit over this last weekend, I had MUCH less free time over the last two days than I anticipated to do that. Any extra moments I had at SDCC was spent meeting up with friends I haven't seen in a while, and my family had plans for my birthday that kept me out of the house. Today, on Sunday, I have finally gotten to look at my Word doc for the first time since Thursday!
That being said, I don't feel like what I had prepared on Thursday is enough for an update. It is very boring, short, and all-together underwhelming. Since I know what I want to convey and reveal isn't being conveyed and revealed in the proper manner, I've scrapped the chapter and am currently rewriting it for you. I plan to post TWICE this week: Once on Wednesday, and once on the usual Friday!
I will never, ever take your presence for granted. Any time I miss a Friday in the future, you can guarantee two posts the next week to compensate. I want you to be very aware of the fact that I wish to be a dependable writer in your life. I do not want be someone who misses their update day and gives you a heap of excuses and never actually makes it up to you. You deserve much more than that.
Any time I miss a week, that's "nonsense". And we're running a NO NONSENSE OFFICE HERE.

Before I leave to get writing, I just want to thank Wattpad for being in my life for so many years. I posted the preface of The Famoux on July 20, 2014. My seventeenth birthday. When I think about all the things that have happened since I made that spur of the moment choice to press post on a website that intimidated me to no end... It makes me so emotional. The staff, writers, and readers of Wattpad have made me feel so proud to be a part of this beautiful community. I can't wait to see what the years to come entail for us all.
