How are you doing right now in your quarantines? How have you been since I last posted? Tell me everything!!!!

I'm so SO SO SO SO sorry for disappearing on you. I have a good explanation. It's more than just a bunch of deadlines and senior year of college and whatnot. I promise, I wouldn't leave you like this for no reason!

However, in light of the last few months I need to tell you some distressing news:

This current version of The Classix is.... kind of sort of obsolete.

I know, I know. This is the restarted version! Am I really making you start all over again? I'm so sorry. So so sorry. But this isn't a result of me feeling uninspired or giving up on this story. It's actually a result of me doing everything in my power to make this story the best it can be.

You see, I've been taking a lot of time to edit and rework The Famoux. Book one has always been my biggest priority, because it's always been a bit of a mess. I mean, the mess is really fun to read on Wattpad, but it's no secret that I've wanted to take it drastically down from its monstrous 260k word-count from the very moment I pressed publish on the final chapter.

Over these last few months, I've really tried to center in one what book one needs to be. What could be cut? What could be changed? What scenes could be fused together? What needed to be added to make it all make sense? Currently, I've gotten to a point where I absolutely ADORE the edited first book and cannot wait to share it with you soon. But now, so many plot points in The Classix don't really exist anymore, technically. To continue writing this version would be like writing fanfic for my own story.

So basically, right now I have some questions:

Would you like me to keep posting this version regardless, so you have things to read during this time? (I'd love to be posting more during this time of quarantine.)

Would you like me to start posting some random other story instead? (I've got a few lying around that might be fun to share.)

Are you super duper mad at me right now? (I'm so sorry!)

I genuinely genuinely genuinely want this series to be the best it can be. I already think the first book is a massive step up from the previous draft. I'm excited to show you what's new. That's the main thing I'm feeling right now: Excitement. I hope you're excited too!

Emeray misses you. Chapter misses you. Cartney misses you. I miss you. Everybody misses you! I love you so much and I cannot thank you enough for reading this book. Truly. Thank you. I don't take that lightly. I know it's a lot to dedicate your time to reading something. I cannot even begin to express how thankful I am that you've read even a word.

I hope you're all staying safe and healthy. If there's anything I can do for you, please let me know.

Please send me the names of your stories to me to read. I have more free time and want to start reading more often on Wattpad again!

And of course, always remember:

Sticks and Stones may break your bones, but haters make you famoux.
