The Streets Of Vale: Y(N) POV
I am currently walking with Team RWBY to check up on the upcoming preparations for the Vytal festival. Normally, I would disagree and just train but Yang offered to pay for my lunch meals for an entire month and Ruby said she would share her cookies with me, so I gave in and accepted their offer. We're currently strolling through the streets as balloons are proudly put on display, and a huge sign that reads WELCOME TO VALE is set up for all foreign newcomers. Definitely, an interesting sight... what's more interesting is how excited Weiss is...
Weiss: (Raises her hand in amazement) The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!
Y(N): (Slowly consuming a red apple while addressing Weiss) The only thing that's wonderful is that you're somehow smiling in public.
Ruby: Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss. (Frowns) It's kinda weirding me out...
Weiss: (Turns to Ruby and you) How could the both of you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!
Yang: (Arms crossed) You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring.
Weiss: Quiet, You!
We stop near the docks as sounds of foghorns are heard.
Yang: Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks.
Y(N): I'm here for the cookies I was promised.
Ruby: Don't worry, you'll get them soon! (She then covers her nose) Ugh, these docks smell like fish!
Y(N): Just don't breathe through your nose, Ruby.
Weiss: Now, I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And, as a representative of Beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom!
Y(N): So, you're spying on them?
Blake: It's so she'll have an upper hand in the tournament.
Weiss: (Scoffs) Neither of you can prove that!
Ruby: Hey, guys look at that! (She points to her right)
You and the team look at a shattered window down the street and at a door full of yellow caution tape of the Vale Police Force before walking over to the detective in front.
Ruby: What happened here?
Detective 1: Robbery. The second dust shop is to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle.
Yang: (Sighs) That's terrible.
Detective 2: They left all the money again.
Ruby: Huh, what do you mean?
Detective 1: They took all the dust, but they didn't take anything else. Who even needs that much dust?
Detective 2: I don't know, an army?
Detective 1: You thinking of the White Fang?
Detective 2: Yeah, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough.
Weiss: Hmph! The White Fang. (Crosses her arms with her eyes closed) What an awful bunch of degenerates!
Y(N): Uh Oh...
