From Mistake to "I love you."(Payton Moormeier fanfic)

"Ice Cream and Movies?"❤️😂🌷

I call Asher.
"Hey. So I kinda need a place to stay for a little bit and you were the first person that came to mind. I feel needy right now. I'm so sorry." I say while crying.
"Oh my gosh,Brittni. Are you ok? Of course you can stay with me." Asher says.
"I'll explain everything later. Thank you soooo much. You are freaking amazing." I say.
"No problem. I'll come and pick you up."
"Ok thank you so much. How will I ever repay you?"
"You don't have to give me anything. Are you at the same house you were last night?"
"Yes."
"Alrighty see you in a bit,bye."
"Bye."
I feel so bad. I hate to be needy.
Skip 10 minutes.
A car pulls up at the house and Asher walks out of it. He walks up to me and engulfs me in a hug. I hug him back and start to cry again.
"Let's go." He says softly
"Ok." I choke out.
We walk to his car and get in. He starts to drive.
"What happened?" He asks.
I look at him.
"You don't have to tell me." He says.
"I just needed a break from Payton. He decided that it was ok to sweet talk me into thinking that I was his and then turn around and do the same thing to Avanii and not expect me to find out." I say on the verge of tears.
"Oh. I'm so sorry. It's going to be ok." Asher said as he put his hand on my thigh.
"You know what it will be ok. Payton isn't worth my tears." I say pushing away any emotion I had.(MoOd SwInGs!)
Asher let's out a small laugh.
I look at him and smile admiring his features.
Skip a few minutes
It's been a few minutes and we soon arrive at Asher's house.
"Here we are." He looks over at me.
I smile at him.
"Thank you again. I'm so sorry." I say.
"Your welcome. And stop apologizing it's ok." He laughs.
I laugh along with him. He removes his hand from my thigh and gets out of the car. I get out as well. I grab my backpack. We walk into the house.
"Hey Asher. Who is this?" A women that I'm guessing is his mom asked.
"Hey mom. This is Brittni. She had a situation and needs to stay with us for a little bit." He says as he looks at me.
"Only if that's ok with you." I say smiling.
"Its fine. You are welcomed here." She said.
"Thank you so much." I replied with a big smile.
"I'll show you to your room." Asher said.
"Alright. Thank you again." I said.
"No problem."
As we walked I felt Asher's hand brush against mine. I slightly smile to myself.
We stop in front of a door.(no way,really?😂.)
"Here is the guest room. The bathroom is right across the hall and if you need me my room is right beside yours." He said.
"Thank you." I said.
"No problem." Asher said giving me an adorable smile.
He went to his room which was like he said right next to mine. I got settled in. I put my clothes in the drawers and plugged my phone in. As I was searching through my clothes that I packed I came across one of Payton's hoodies. It smelled like him. Tears started to prick my eyes but before I could start crying someone knocked on my door.
"Come in." I said.
"Hey sweetie,I just wanted to let you know if you are hungry you are welcomed to anything in the kitchen. Also,we usually have more kids but they are gone to camp. Just make yourself at home and stay however long you need too." Asher's mom said.
"Thank you so much. I'm not hungry right now but thanks for letting me know. I don't know how to ever repay you. Just thank you." I said.
"It's fine. I'm just glad to help." She said and walked away.
These people are just so nice. Out of nowhere the memories that I had with Payton started to flood in my mind. I started to cry again realizing how much I miss him. (Even though they have only been part for like 30minutes😂)
A few minutes pass by and Asher walks into the room holding up several movies and a bucket of ice cream(whatever flavor you want.)
"Ice cream and movies?" Asher asks.
I nod my head letting out a small laugh. We walk into his room and he puts in the first movie.(lowkey my mind is blank rn so whatever movie you want.) I sit in a chair and Asher's sits on his bed.
"Come here,I don't bite." Asher said as he patted the spot beside him.
"Ok." I said while laughing.
I go and sit beside him.Asher laid down and grabbed me to lay down beside him. We started to watch the movie and eat ice cream. We were about 45 minutes into the movie when we finished the whole bucket of ice cream.(Lowkey who else does this? I'll be with my friends and we eat so much ice cream it's unreal. Lol) After the first movie he put in another one. It was Bambi.
"Oh my goodness, I haven't watched this movie in ages." I laugh.
"Same." Asher says and laughs along with me.
About 20 minutes into the movie I feel an arm around my waist. Asher then put his head in the crook of my neck. Payton used to do this. I slightly smile to myself remembering how Payton would call me Babygirl. (Lowkey they have only been apart for like 2hours and 30 minutes😂😂) I shake the thoughts of Payton out of my head.
Skip till 8:30 PM
We have been watching movies all day.
"Hey Asher, I'm going to go to my room." I say.
"Why?" He asks.
"Um because I'm tired."
"Ok."
I get out of his grip and walk to my room. I get in some sleeping shorts and a t-shirt. I get a notification on my phone telling me that Payton is live. I hesitate but end up clicking the notification. I join the live knowing it's just going to make me upset...

Ok I'm so sorry for the short chapter. I just have been traveling a lot and not able to update as much as I would like. I promise when school starts I will have longer chapters. ALSO, I'm thinking about instead of creating another full fanfiction maybe I should create a book of imagines and have requests and stuff like that. Should I do another fanfiction or do an  imagine book? Leave your answer in the comments below.
