NICK P.O.V.: I walked into Joe's room and he was looking through the window.

Joe: glad you came

Nick: sorry, I was busy

Joe: yea, no problem...at all

Nick: so, what did you call me for?

Joe: (he looked at me with teary eyes) well, this hasn't been my best day so far, you know?

Nick: what happened? (I sat on the bed in front of him)

Joe: to begin with, my heart is broken, I feel completely lonely and, to end with...I trusted someone I shouldn't

Nick: what? I don't get it...be clear Joe, please

Joe: Sophie just broke up with me, she doesn't want to marry me because it's too much. I told her we could change the date of the wedding and she told me "I'm not ready to have a relationship like the one we have, we're already too committed and I'm not ready for this"...and...that bullshit of the "I'm on my 20's"

Nick: when was that?

Joe: like 10 minutes ago

Nick: well...I'm sorry Joe, must be hard (he smiled sadly)

Joe: it is

Nick: and what was the other thing you talked about?

Joe: umm something kinda complicated

Nick: what is it?

Joe: do you remember when you told me that I had to be careful if Demi was staying to eat dinner with me, and I had sex with her that night?

Nick: yea, what happens?

Joe: (he started to smoke a cigarette) she's pregnant now

Nick: (I tried my best to look in shock and I think it worked) what? You must be kidding me

Joe: no, I'm not...I saw the pregnancy test...I can't believe still (I nodded)

Nick: and...how are you taking it?

Joe: for Sophie, I was in love with her and now...there's nothing between us...and Demi (he gasped) man, I trusted her and she got pregnant anyways

Nick: what you're trying to say?

Joe: Demi knew I was drunk and she had sex with me, she never told me to use a condom and didn't even take the pill...she did this on purpose

Nick: man, you're so troubled (I said with dislike)

Joe: what? Why?

Nick: I've talking with her a lot lately, she told me about the pregnancy and told me before you...I found her throwing up two days ago and Joe, the bracelet you found is the one I gave her...I just started thinking and everything made sense for me

Joe: why didn't you tell me?

Nick: cause it was between the both of you, not me.

Joe: she did it on purpose

Nick: no, she didn't. Dude you have to understand that she didn't make everything alone. You had sex with her, drunk or not, I don't care. She took the pill Joe. And for God's sake...she didn't do this on purpose, she's been crying all these days alone in her room because it's too much for her and for you and she wanted you to marry Soph

Joe: how can you be so sure?

Nick: firstly cause I know her since very long time ago, and then...I'm not talking about this with you (I walked to the door)

Nick: she wanted to have a miscarriage and I'm afraid she still wants to do it...make up your mind and talk to her...before it's too late (I slammed the door and went to my room)
