DEMI P.O.V.: I knocked on Nick's door three times and when he opened all I could do was hug him while crying.

Nick: hey, wait...what happened?

Demi: it's done

Nick: shh, come in (we walked into his house and I dried my tears) now tell me...what happened?

Demi: he left

Nick: who? Something happened to the baby?

Demi: n-no, everything is fine but...Joe doesn't love me

Nick: what? He does

Demi: no, he doesn't and he never did.

Nick: why are you saying that?

Demi: I woke up this morning and heard he was talking with someone on the phone

Nick: aham

Demi: and he told someone "I'm just with her to see the baby process don't get jealous"

Nick: who was he talking with?

Demi: Sophie (I sobbed) he never loved me Nick, I told him to get out of my life forever. Was that right?

Nick: well, yea...I think it's a right thing to do (I nodded slowly and he bit his lip) listen, I'll be back in a minute okay? I'm gonna call Pri and tell her you're here

Demi: fine

NICK P.O.V.: I walked to my room and knocked on the bathroom door.

Priyanka: come in

Nick: (I saw her doing her make up) Pri...Joe and Demi broke up

Priyanka: they what?

Nick: yes, she's downstairs...do you think you can stay with her and talk with her to calm her a bit until I'm back?

Priyanka: yes, of course...where are you going?

Nick: this is just...weird. I doubt that what Demi told me is true

Priyanka: what did she tell you?

Nick: she told me Joe was talking with Sophie this morning and he said "you know I'm just with her to see the baby process, don't get jealous"

Priyanka: what? (She looked shocked)

Nick: I know, this is weird

Priyanka: I doubt she lied but maybe he did

Nick: Joe? Why would he lie?

Priyanka: I don't know but I believe in Demi. I don't think she'd lie with something like this.

Nick: she told me that he didn't love her

Priyanka: well...

Nick: that's not true love. He's my brother and I know him better than anyone. I know he loves Demi, he always has.

Priyanka: are you gonna talk with him?

Nick: of course...I'll be back later. Take care of her please

Priyanka: of course (she kissed me sweetly) I love you, be safe

I walked downstairs again and found Demi still crying.

Nick: hey buds, I'll be back later. Pri is coming to stay with you okay? (She nodded) calm down, we'll be fine

Demi: whatever (I left the house and called Joe)

Joe: yea?

Nick: where are you? We need to talk

Joe: (he sighed) she told you, didn't she?

Nick: of course, what the fuck is this Joe?

Joe: listen...why don't you go to McDonald's and I'll meet you there?

Nick: okay

Joe: make sure nobody follows you please...or we'll be in a big trouble

Nick: what? Joe this is weird

I waited twenty minutes for Joe until he arrived.

Nick: hey

Joe: hey, sorry it was difficult to avoid Sophie's questions and all that (he sat in front of me)

Nick: care to explain what's happening?

Joe: yes, that's why I'm here (he told me the whole story and I was shocked after he did)

Nick: what are you gonna do now?

Joe: I can't break up with Sophie or tell Demi what's happening cause they will hurt her. I can't risk her wellbeing or even, her life...to be happy

Nick: Joe, I don't know how to help you

Joe: just...can you take care of her? Please the baby and Demi are the most important thing in my life. I promise I'm gonna fix. I promise I will.

Nick: so you'll just walk away?

Joe: I need to, I have to protect her

Nick: and the baby?

Joe: I hope to meet him when he's born but...I don't know how much this can takes

Nick: (I sighed) okay. I'll take care of them
