JOE P.O.V.: I looked at Nick with red eyes from crying.

Joe: how long?

Nick: three and half

Joe: shit (I closes my eyes trying to stop myself from crying but the door opening made me jump)  how is she?

Doctor: she's alive, we lost her for some seconds but her heart started beating regularly...she's still asleep from the anesthesia

Demi's family members were already here so I didn't want to ask about the baby in front of everyone...cause she never told them about it.

Dallas: which room?

Doctor: 23 in the highest floor...more privacy

Nick: thank you (she nodded and left)

Dianna: I'll go see her

Joe: yea...we all want to see her (I walked rapidly to the elevator and jumped in it with Nick, Pri, Dallas and Maddie cause it was for 5 people)

Dallas: are you okay? (She asked touching my arm) you seem a little too worried

Joe: I am

Dallas: she's fine Joe, there's nothing to worry about

Joe: (I nodded) yea...nothing

Maddie: we're here (we all walked out and went to the room)

Three seconds later, mom, dad, Dianna and Eddie arrived there too.

Dianna: I'm gonna enter...girls? (They nodded and entered with her)

I waited almost ten minutes with my head thinking like a train until they walked out.

Dallas: she's awake...and she wants to see you (she pointed at me)

Joe: she does? (I tried to look surprised even tho I wasn't)

Maddie: yea...go in

Joe: sure (I walked into the room and felt like flying seeing her alive and safe) freckles...you gave me the scare of my life (I ran to the stretcher she was in and hugged her carefully)

Demi: hey honey

Joe: how are you feeling? (I kissed her forehead softly)

Demi: I'm better now that you're here...but this kinda hurts

Joe: what?

Demi: my whole body...my back hurts like hell (I nodded and peaked her lips) Joe...how is the baby?

Joe: I haven't had the opportunity to ask without your parents hearing

Demi: (she chuckled) you can let Nick enter...he must be afraid still. I was talking with him when the car hit my back...it was a lucky accident

Joe: yea, you're still alive (she nodded and bit her lip smiling) what?

Demi: I'm happy to see your handsome face...your gorgeous eyes shining

Joe: they shine for you (she blushed and Nick entered the room with Priyanka)

Nick: you better look to both sides the next time

Demi: sorry (he kissed her hand)

Nick: how are you?

Demi: feeling good

Priyanka: I was scared Demi...Don't you ever do that again

Demi: if I can choose, I'll never go through it again (we laughed and the doctor entered)

She wrote some things on some papers, checked on Demi's blood leves and smiled.

Doctor: you're getting better...I'm glad we didn't lose you

Demi: thanks for the effort to keep me alive

Doctor: it's our work (she winked at Demi and Demi smiled)

The doctor was leaving when she looked back at us with a bright smile.

Doctor: oh, I almost forgot about it...the baby is perfect

Demi, Nick and I: thanks God (she left the room and the room was silent)

Priyanka: what? Which baby?

Nick: ooff...

Joe: ohoh

Demi: I umm...Joe and I...we're expecting a baby
