Regret... I can't tell who's emotions I'm feeling but I can feel regret flooding through me. The problem was neither of us have anything to regret. We both made mistakes, and that's that.

"Their ready for You Luna." Liam greeted from the door frame. I nodded looking at my appearance at one last time. I was a little confused on why I was wear a wedding dress but I chose not to ask any questions. One thing I noticed as soon as we arrived last night was how... expensive everything looked. The mansion looked like a castle almost. Everything was design with a royal theme. I was genuinely terrified I wouldn't be able to live up to their high expectations or royal taste.

"Lets do this..."

"INTRODUCING, THE LUNA!" The deep voice echoed from the other side of the large doors. Liam smiled reassuringly as the doors opened revealing a large- no, huge- ball room filled with people... starting to get the royalty thing. My breath hitched as I took a few steps until I was standing in at the top of the stair case looking down at the pack members. Cheers and gasps erupted catching me off guard.

"Luna..." my head snapped to a small child who was standing in front of her parents. A soft smile rested on their faces earning a equal smile from me. I noticed the little girl was holding a velvet pillow. My eyes widened at the jaw dropping crown resting on top.

"May I?" She asked. I knelt down taking a mental note of her European accent, although I'm not sure exactly where she's from. As soon as the crown was placed on my head a wave of emotions and voices flooded throughout me... I've been accepted into the pack. I turned to look at th-my pack. A smile made its way to my face realizing what his meant. I was their Luna. The one who would keep them safe. But even with all this excitement and pride I couldn't help but feel alone in this.

It's almost as if something was missing.... no, it's someONE.

"Xavier..." I frowned turning back to see Liam talking to one of the pack members.

"Luna." The pack member bowed earring  small nod from me before disappearing into the crowd of pack members.

"Liam, call River and tell him to bring his beta. We need to sign a treaty so we can get this plan in motion... I'll handle Xavier." I commanded. I caught a quick smile before He quickly nodded and left.

"Is there anything I can do for you Luna?" An older lady asked.

"Can you show me to my room? I may have forgotten where it is..." I laughed nervously.

         ☆

I sighed rummaging through my closet. I have no idea why it was fully stocked or how they knew my size. To my dismay everything in here looked extremely expensive and fancy... not good for someone who's clumsy.

*The Alphas have arrived* Liam linked me. I jumped in surprise forgetting he can do that now.

'I'll be down in a second' I linked back. I let out a breath of relief finding something I liked and quickly slipping it on.

It took a good 15 minutes to find the meeting room. I'm surprised it didn't take longer...

"Luna." The guards opened the meeting room doors revealing Liam, Xavier, Noah, River, Kai, and Kiera.

"Took you long enough." Liam scowled looking annoyed, but more towards The other people in the room. I raised a brow while taking a seat.

"Sorry I got a little lost... Do you have the papers?" I asked Liam but my gaze fell on Xavier who'd been staring the whole time. He nodded pushing the papers to me. An awkward silence filled the room as everyone carefully watched me look through the already signed papers before signing my own name at the bottom. There wasn't much to say other than the obvious.

"Ready your packs, we leave tonight."

I could sense the fear radiating off of the Mayhem and Chaos pack members. But there was an emotion I can't quite decipher on all of my pack members face. Children, unshifted wolves, and mothers of young children were forced to stay out of the fight. Through the thousands of faces I spotted Vanessa Hildegard along with Lucas, Jake, and miles standing at the back door of the 'castle' with fearful looks. Before I could make my way over to them I caught a glimpse of River talking to one of the girls in my pack... they looked like they were arguing? I groaned going to them instead.

"L-Luna." She blushed looking down.

"River... why are you causing problems?" I asked mocking him slightly. He growled quietly looking at... Caitlyn? Yea I think that's her name.

"She's insisting she joins us in the fight..." he growled not liking pleased. I raised a brow not seeing the problem. She looked somewhere between 17-19.

"And that's a problem why?" I asked only to earn a low growl from River. Caitlyn's face was bright red, although I'm not sure why. I could feel a pair of large arms wrapped around my waist.

Xavier. Moon purred intaking his intoxicating scent.

"Isn't it obvious princess?" Xavier chuckled lightly. I tilted my head still not understanding.

"Wait..." then it hit me.

"RIVER YOU JERK! You didn't tell me!" I playfully punched him, possibly to hard.

"She 17 Avery, too young to fight." He growled m completely ignoring me.

"I'm 17..." I reminded.

"That's different!" He yelled receiving a growl from Xavier.

"River it's her choice." I finished pulling away from Xavier and walking off.

Only a few more minutes until we leave...
