The Contract

Torture

I look at him as he lays strapped to the table just like Bella was. His eyes look almost lifeless and he shows no emotion. His clothes have been removed and as I grab a knife of the table that sits beside me a flashback of Bella strapped to that table bleeding hits me.

I begin to carve his stomach as he screams at the top of his lungs. Once there is no skin left to carve I go to his legs as he did with Bella. I slice and carve and then I make my way to his hands. I cut each finger until there is none left. His screams have long since dulled to a low moan and I decide to get some answers before I finish him off.

"Why did you do it? I trusted you and you betrayed me and took her your own sister?" He doesn't answer so I grab the knife and I slice down his face taking it to the bone.

"WHY DID YOU DO IT" I roar.

"Because you got everything when that bitch married you everything that was mine he was my father as well as hers don't think I was just planning on taking her out I was taking all her brothers and sisters out but you trusted me so much with her she was the easiest target but don't think I didn't have help, " He shouts.

That gets me interested. I grab his hair and I press the knife in to his eye. He screams as blood pours from it. I do the same to the other and then I stop. "You know you will die anyway so tell me who helped you?"

"Your old whore helped me that's who she thought if I killed Bella you would take her back why did you think she kept coming around at first trying to see you but I wouldn't worry I already killed that cunt she got in the way too much, "

"You should of known things would turn out like this Marco because as you know no one messes with the famiglia" With that I cut his throat and I watch as he bleeds out to make sure he is dead. I get my men to dismember and get rid of the body. I burn my clothes and then shower. Once I'm done my phone rings and I see it is my mother.

My heart begins to beat faster as I answer thinking something may be wrong with Bella. "Hello is everything okay?"

"Everything is fine Luca I am awake please come and see me?" Bella says on the other side.

"I'll be there right away" with that I dress in a grey suit and walk downstairs. At the bottom, Angelina is waiting and she hands me an envelope.

"It just arrived for you and it seemed important, " she says.

"Thank you and just to let you know Bella is awake," I say and a smile breaks out over her face.

"May I come with you to see her I have missed her very much?" She says and I nod.

She grabs her shoes and coat and we leave. Once In the car she begins to talk about how much she loves Bella and how glad she is that I am now happy instead of brooding all the time. I ignore her as we drive to the hospital knowing what is in that envelope.

We park and exit and then we make our way up to the hospital floor that she is on. Once there I take a minute to have a breath before entering her room.
