Chapter 59: More Than Anything

Mars' POV

After naming mag-away ni Moren, pumunta muna ako sa ibang bansa because I want some space and I want to be alone.

I didn't tell them because I don't want them to follow me and while I'm away, I remembered some of my memories about Mark and I confirmed that he is my first but I don't know who that M is.

I don't care if they're searching for me and I don't care if they're worried about me and also, I changed my sim card for them not to bother my vacation.

I don't know why I fell in love with Mark but let me describe him, he is kind, he is so sweet, his physical appearance was attractive especially his scent, and also his smile was so good. I feel like...every he smile at me, I feel very happy and when I'm with him, I feel very safe and I feel like in a movie.

After I met him, when Mia introduced him to me, I feel like...like...he is more than Moren to me and when we are together, I feel like he is more than anything to me.

Mark's POV

I think it's time, I think it's time to give up, 1 week na kaming hindi nagkikita-kita baka ikinasal na sila sa ibang bansa. I can't do anything to win against Moren now.

I think, tatanda na lang ako binata, hahaha. I won't love any girl except Mars. Mars is everything to me and I can't afford to lose her but what can I do if she loves someone now?

Ever since we broke up, after Cassandra send that picture to her, I didn't date any girl, I didn't love any girl, and especially I didn't look at another girl. Just her, her, because I'm hoping that if I come back, I will see her in a long white gown walking in the church but I'm wrong. Yes, she will wear a long white gown and she will walk in the church but I'm not her man.

Habang nagtratrabaho ako, sinabi ko sa secretary ko na huwag siyang magpapapasok sa opisina ko na hindi ako pumapayag.

"Sir, may gusto daw kuma-usap sa inyo" sabi ng secretary ko.

"Sabihin mong busy ako" sabi ko.

"Pero si---" napatigil yung secretary ko dahil sumigaw ako.

"Sabihin mong busy ako!" sigaw ko.

"It's me" sabi ni Mars.

"What are you doing here?" tanong ko at sinenyasan kong umalis na yung secretary ko at isara niya yung pinto.

"I want to talk to you" sabi ko.

"Mars, I don't want to go to your wedding, so please" sabi ko.

"Wedding?" tanong niya.

"You're marrying Moren, right?" sabi ko.

"No, we broke up a week ago because I want to comfirm what is this feeling in my heart about you" sabi niya at napalunok ako.

"I went to another country to be alone and have some space to remember you because I want to know who you are in my life because I feel like...you are more than anything to me, Mark" sabi niya kaya nagulat ako. Umiling-iling ako, ayaw ko, ayaw kong maalala niya lahat ng maling nagawa ko sa kanya.

"No, I don't want to hurt you anymore, Mars" sabi ko at tumayo ako saka ako humarap sa glass wall ko kaya tinalikuran ko siya.

"Now, go" sabi ko at nagulat ako nang bigla niya akong yakapin mula sa likod ko.

"You're not hurting me, the truth is, you are the who make me happy, Mark" sabi niya.

"Mars..." sabi ko at pinlip kong tanggalin yung kamay niya sa waist ko pero ayaw niyang bumitaw.

"Please" sabi niya.

"I'm sorry, I can't" sabi ko.

"Why?" tanong niya at bumitaw siya saka niya pinunas yung luha niya.

"Here's the point, I'm not the one for you because I hurt you many times. You deserve someone better than me, find the one for you" sabi ko.

"But you're the one for me" sabi niya.

"No, I'm not, I don't deserve you" sabi ko at humarap ako sa kanya at agad niya naman akong niyakap.

"Mark, you deserve me, no one is better than you" sabi niya.

"Let go, Mars" sabi ko.

"I won't let you" sabi niya at hinalikan niya yung labi ko at bigla namang may nagbalibag ng pinto kaya napatingin kami dun.

"I told you! You are hiding her!" sigaw ni Moren at lumapit siya sa akin saka niya ako sinuntok.

"Moren!" sigaw ni Mars at lumabas na si Moren habang hinihila niya si Mars.

"Let me go, ughh!" sigaw ni Mars at pinapalo palo niya yung kamay ni Moren. Tinignan ko lang sila habang palabas ng office ko.

Mars' POV

"Ughh! Moren! What's your problem?!" sigaw ko.

"Let's talk" sabi ni Moren at binilasan niya ang takbo ng kotse hanggang sa nakarating kami sa bahay nila.
