"Jasmine regardless of the out come, just know that we will be here. If Zack retaliates, we are here to back you up. Hell we will get Scott to help with legal stuff if we need to." My Dad's friend is a lawyer and I have no duet he will help me out if needed.
"Like I said I don't want to press any charges, I will let the academy deal with him. But there is another thing on the agenda." I turned to look at Jesse.
"Oh right that. I kind sort've broke a whiteboard." He scratched the back of his head.
"How do you sort've brake something? You know the rules when it comes to destroying club property." Dad went from calm to mad.
"It cracked slightly, it didn't brake completely. We were going over players and line ups, and the guys told me what happened and I got so mad I punched the closes thing which happen to be board." Jess explained.
"Coach let it slide. He is not writing him up for it because of the circumstances." Casey defended.
"Dad look in the bright side, he could've gone out and looked for Zack and punched him but instead he somewhat controlled his anger and punched the wall instead." I also tried to defend him.
"Jesse I get that you always want to defender Jasmine, but anger is not the option. But I am proud that you controlled yourself to a certain point." Mom always critics and follows with a compliment so is to not only focus on the bad.
"But that doesn't mean you are getting away with this. You will pay for a replacement, you get I'm sure your dad can find you something to do." Mom went back to strict mom.
"Wait why can't I came to work for you?" He asked and we all knew the answer to that.
"Jess it's meant to be a punishment. Sorry Dad, but your office is pretty boring. Mom has you beat, at any moment a famous soccer player can stroll in her office." I joked.
"Ouch I'm hurt, but I get it I can't beat that. Jesse you better get ready to use your printer techniques." He joked.
"Oh god I hate Bertha. That machine is the devil." Casey groan.
"I still have the picture of your face covered in toner." I laughed.
Casey had to help my dad after accidentally spilling orange juice all over his papers one summer morning. My dad insisted it was fine, but Casey also insisted he should help at least make copies for him. He ended up going to his office that day and fought with the printer and lost because he was splatter in ink when he came back.
"Oh trust me I know to be careful with that dumb printer, I almost lost a finger trying to fix a paper jam." Jess remembered the last time he helped my dad.
"Well I am please to let you both know that Bertha has been replaced with Bessie. This new printer is way better and safer. But I wouldn't go around sticking your fingers inside it, you will not be covered in case of an accident." Dad joke.
"Well now that all is settle, let's make space for some dessert. I made some berry sorbet." Mom got up and walked to the kitchen.
We all started to clear the table, we knew the drill of stalking all the dirt dished and placing all the food scraps in the empty salad bowl. All must be cleared before she got back, we had everything timed to a T.
"I have out done myself, this might be my new go to recipe. I need your guys input though." She walked in with a container, bowls, and spoons.
"Honey any you do is good." Dad kissed the side of her head as she stood next to her to helper serve us.
