I heard Tyler laughing at me while I examined my new haircut. I'm sure he is enjoying this much more than he would like to admit.

"I look like Oliver!" I shouted while giving him a glare.

Tyler is gay and he happens to be obsessed with my twin brother Oli.

"Yup! You certainly do. Now I feel like we are closer than ever." He said while taking out a picture of Oliver on his wallet.

"Ew! I'm not him. So stop saying that." I complain.

Ever since I moved out, Tyler and I had been roommates. We share all the expenses in our apartment. He was working day and night as bartender while I was taking some part-time bartending shift whenever I have free time. I'm currently busy taking some small roles from movies and series I can find.

"I still can't believe how you made me do all of these for that stupid role you convinced me to do." I said yet again. I've been complaining all day.

"Look, you don't really have much of a choice. I try to talk you out of giving all your money to that company. I knew not to trust those freaking scammers but you didn't listen to me did you?." He lectured.

"Fine.. fine. I'm officially broke. I don't even know what to do with my life." I sighed frustratingly.

"Have you told your mom yet?" He asked curiously.

I shook my head no.

"Oh c'mon Olivia.. When are you planning to tell her?" He asked again.

"How about never.." I replied.

"I'm your friend and you know I'll do anything to help you out which is why I convince you to audition for that documentary role even if you hate it so much. The pay was still pretty higher compared to all the other roles you have taken so far." He explained.

I think I know what he is about to tell me..

"Maybe.. I mean.. It's not that I'm kicking you out.. but you see, the apartment we are renting is still too costly and my job alone can't shoulder all the expenses." He seem guilty for having to say it to me.

"I can lend you some money. To be honest, these past few days, I've been thinking of transferring to a small space near the coffee shop. I already found one. I would love to have you there but it is too small for the both of us." He mentioned.

Okay so now, I'm about to be homeless.

"Yeah I got it." I said shortly.

He took out some cash and handed it to me.

"Please have this.. I know it's not that much but I still want to help you. I know things haven't been easy." He said.

I refused to take his money. Not because of my pride but because I know he also needed it.

"Olivia!" He raised his voice. "Just take it please. Promise me that you will come home. I don't want you roaming around the streets, homeless like those people we see outside." He said seriously while shaking me.

"What is so bad about that?" I joked.

"I'm serious! You know what.. if you stay stubborn.. I'll just contact your bestfriend Sarah. I'll tell her everything and I'm sure she will be more than happy to fetch you here and tell your mom about all your money problems." He warned.

I know he was serious. Sarah and Tyler do not exactly get along much. I guess it's because they are too similar and him saying he would talk to Sarah means he was dead serious.

"Geez! Fine.. I'll go home. No need to worry too much. I'll just borrow half of your money. I still have some cash saved up from that stupid role you got for me. I know you needed money for your new place too. I'll give your money back as soon as I can. I promise." I replied warmly.

He hugged me tight. I just froze. I'm not really a hugger type of person.

I pushed him lightly.

"Still uptight as ever. To be honest, I'll never imagine you being so into acting and such." This is the first time he brought this up.

I can't exactly blame him for seeing the irony. I'm a very introvert person but whatever.. acting is still my passion and dream.

"Yeah whatever.. it's not like I can still go to acting school now. I guess I need to forget about that dream of becoming a famous actress." I said sounding defeated.

"I didn't mean it like that. You are amazing. I'm sure you will be able to achieve whatever you want in life." He said reassuringly.

"Thanks." I said. I'm really not feeling hopeful lately.

He try to hug me again.

"I won't be seeing you for awhile. I'm so gonna miss you!" He said acting dramatically.

"Are you sure you are not being so clingly right now because you see me as Oliver?" I asked suspiciously.

I was just joking. Tyler is very affectionate. Like Sarah, Tyler is also sweet, caring and extrovert friend. They both make it easy for me to open up and just be myself.

He smack me playfully.

"Maybe a little.." He said smiling sheepishly.

"Then maybe you shouldn't kick me out." I said joking.

He thoughtfully consider it which made me laughed.

We both just try to enjoy ourselves the whole evening. He was right. I will probably not see him that much anymore. I don't even know how I would face my mom. The shame of losing everything because of my stupid mistake.

I try to stay positive.

I tried to think of good things I can do back home.

I guess seeing Sarah again will not be such a bad thing? Last time we spoke was a few weeks ago. I guess she's busy at her new school. We kept in touch even after I moved away. Tyler complains a lot whenever Sarah and I have our midnight calls. I mean of course he wouldn't like it because we are disturbing his sleep.

Ugh, I still need to make up an excuse. I don't want to tell my mom the whole reason for coming back home.
