I Need Answers

Charle growled in frustration as she landed five blows on a boulder and it cracked.

"You have to be kidding me! Five blows! It should have shattered into a billion pieces!" Charle shouted.

"Are you concentrating? It might be that" Sebastian suggested.

"I AM IN FULL CONCENTRATION!" Charle snarled viscously.

Sebastian puts his hand up "A-alright"

Charle jumped high into the air "DIE PUNY PEBBLE!"

With a single smash of her kick, the boulder was shattered into tiny fragments.

"Take that!" Charle yelled.

Sebastian sighed 'It seems like she's got her mother's anger and change of mood'

"Charle are you su-"

"I'm fine!" Charle sighed and put her hand on her father's shoulder.

"Quit worrying will you? I'm not weak anymore, I know what I'm doing"

"I just can't afford to lose you, Charle. I'm sorry for-"

"I've been wanting to ask you for awhile" Charle interrupted.

Sebastian seemed taken aback but his daughter's sudden interruption.

"Yes?"

Charle looked down "It's been five years since I've asked you this. I'm sorry I made you snap...five years back"

Sebastian immediately remembered and flinched "I'm-"

"The one who is to be sorry" Charle finished.

Sebastian clenched his fists and looked away.

"Daddy!"

Sebastian turned and saw his seven year-old daughter giggling towards him.

"Yes, Kitten?"

"I want to ask you something" Charle looked away bashfully.

Sebastian kneeled to his daughter's height "You seem embarrassed, what's wrong?"

"The other servants say you're always busy. S-so I didn't want to bother you" Charle replied.

Sebastian smiled "You can always come to me, I'd never mind"

(A/N: Just remembered that Jesus Christ said that to children XD)

"Why don't I have...a...a womanly figure to look up to?" Charle asked.

Sebastian's eyes filled with sorrow, and realized he taught his daughter a large vocabulary.

Except the word: Mother.

"Daddy? Why?"

Sebastian stood up and looked away.

"D-Daddy?"

And he snapped "Go away Charle! Bother someone else."

Charle's eyes widened, because she was a demon she did not cry. She only had shock.

Mey-rin rushed to Charle's side and soothed her.

"Mey-rin...D-Did I do something wrong?" Charle asked.

"Of course not dear! He's just stressed with work. He didn't mean anything"

"...Oh"

"Come on dear, would you like to read something?"

"Yes please"

'I'm sorry daddy, forgive me'

Charle stared straight up at her father's eyes, her gaze unblinking.

"Why don't I have a womanly figure to look up to?"

Sebastian sighed "You have Mey-Rin don't you?"

Charle huffed "You know that's not what I mean"

"...L-let's go inside."

As the two sat on Charle's bed, the two were silent, but broken by Sebastian's sigh.

"Your mother...was beautiful, warm-hearted, smart and just someone who was just so...so perfect."

Charle stayed quiet and kept listening to her father's words.

"I-I drove her away, for the choice I should forced onto better."

"S-So she's alive" Charle whispered.

"Yes, she's living peacefully"

"B-but why can't I-wait no...I get it. I am a servant of the Phantomhives. I know what is my place"

Sebastian sighed and kissed his daughter's head "I see your mother in you everyday, my little snowshoe kitten. Remember who you are and know that you are half-demon, you can't take everything on by yourself"

"Wait! Where are you going! What do you mean!" Charle yelled out to her father as he left the room.

"Just out and about, I know I can rely on you to fix things around here"

"B-But the servants! They'll burn everyth-"

BOOM

"WAAAAAAH!"

Charle slapped her frontal lobe "See!"

Sebastian only chuckled and took his leave swiftly.

After tending to the servants, Charle flopped onto her bed and groaned.

"He's always out, what the heck is he doing?! Having fun, while I'm stuck here doing chores.

'I wish to see my mother once more. That would be the best wish I could ever have'
