Y/n pressed the button and a smile made it's way onto her face at the view of the fluorescent blue lights flickering on outside the window. Beyond the blue lights is a faint red dot, quickly making it's way closer to the tower. "How does it look?"

Y/n smiles as Tony responds. "Like Christmas... but with more... me."

The female smiles. "We've got to go wider on the public awareness campaign. You need to do some press. We need to start zoning for the next three buildings."

A faint chuckle is heard as the Iron Man lands on a platform outside, his suit beginning to get disassembled. "Y/n, you're killing me. Remember, enjoy the moment."

The female laughs. "Get up here and I will."

Y/n was standing in front of a display of  screens, showing the power levels of the tower. "Levels are holding steady."

The man smiled and walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind and resting his head on her shoulder. "Of course they are, I was directly involved. Which leads me to my next question; How does it feel to be a genius?"

He turned the display off and the two faced each other. She pecks his lips. "Well, I think you would know the answer to that question, wouldn't you?"

"What do you mean? All this came from you."

She shook her head and placed her finger on his Arc Reactor. "No, all this came from these... Well, and Pepper because she runs the company."

"Give yourself some credit, please. Stark tower is your baby. Give yourself- twelve percent of the credit." The woman scoffs as Tony continues and she starts walking toward the living room. "An argument can be made for fifteen."

"Twelve percent of my baby?"

The man hastily follows the woman. "Well, I did do all the heavy lifting. Literally, I lifted the heavy things and sorry but, the security snafu? That was on you."

She rolled her eyes and grabbed two glasses of wine, filling them. "You seem to forget that I lifted the heavy things too."

"My private elevator."

"You mean our elevator."

The man nodded slightly and took the glass of wine from the woman's hand. "Yeah, It was teeming with sweaty workmen. I'm going to pay for that comment about percentages in some subtle way later aren't I?"

Y/n smiled and laughed. "Not gonna be that subtle."

"I'll tell you what, next building is gonna say 'L/n' on the tower."

She shook her head defiantly. "On the lease!"

Jarvis interrupted the playful banter between the two. "Sir, the telephone. I'm afraid my protocols are being overridden."

The girl looked in confusion. "Who's calling?"

Before Tony could answer, his phone rings. He picked it up and held it in front of him. The voice of Phil Coulson could be heard. "Mr. Stark, we need to talk."

"You have reached the Life Model Decoy of Tony Stark. Please leave a message."

Y/n stifled a laugh and Tony shot her a look.

The man on the other end sighed. "This is urgent."

"Then leave it urgently."

The elevator doors open and out steps the Agent. Tony looks up. "Security breach."

Y/n stands up and makes her way over to the man. "Phil! Come in!"

Tony follows the woman once again. "Phil?... Uh, his first name is agent."

Y/n hugs the man. "Come on in, we're celebrating."

Tony gave a fake smile. "Which is why he can't stay."

Coulson held out a laptop and the woman quickly took it. "He doesn't like to be handed things. So let's switch." She handed her drink to the Agent in return and then took Tony's drink and handed him the laptop. "Thank you."

He rolled his eyes. "Official consulting hours are between eight and five every other Thursday."

"This isn't an consultation."

Y/n piped up. "Is this about the Avengers?" Tony shot her a look as if to ask her how she knew about the Avengers and she sheepishly smiled. "What, I'm an agent and I also have a suit. You expect me not to know?"

He sighed. "The Avengers Initiative was scrapped, I thought, and I didn't even qualify." The man turned and made his way over to the monitors, the files of everyone in the group being displayed. "Yeah, apparently I'm volatile, self-obsessed, don't play well with others." A video of Y/n training with Natasha came onto the screens along with her file. Tony shot her a look and she shrugged.

Y/n nods, "That I for sure knew."

Phil sighed. "This isn't about personality profiles anymore."

"Ms. L/n, got a sec?"

The girl makes her way over to Tony and stands next to him. He sighs in frustration. "You know, I thought we were having a moment."

The girl replied smugly. "I was having twelve percent of the moment." Tony shot Y/n a look and she frowned. "Phil seems pretty shaken, and that never happens. The Avengers Initiative was supposed to be scrapped. If it's, back now... This is serious Tony."

They both look up at the videos before them. Y/n watches as she jumps up and wraps her legs around the neck of a male agent, Natasha standing in the background. She flips the man over and pins him to the ground. A small smile is seen on of the face of the redhead in the back. Tony gives her a look and she shrugs.

She continues watching videos as she speaks. "You should go Tony."

He looks at the girl with his brows furrowed. "Me? What about-"

"I'm an agent Tony and I'm a part of the Avengers. I don't have a choice. Whether you come is your choice but I'm going. And I probably have to leave now."

He tilted his head. "Now? But-"

"There's no arguing this Tony. You have homework. Lots of it."

"Well, what if I didn't?"

Y/n frowned at the man. "If you didn't? You mean when you finished. Look, you don't have to do it, but at least look over the files." He just looked at her and she sighed. "If you do..." She leaned toward him and whispered into his ear.

She leans back and the man looks slightly flustered. "Square deal. Fly safe."

He takes the girl and pulls her closer while looking into her eyes. He shakes his head and brings her lips to his own in a sweet kiss, pouring as much passion into it as he possibly can. "Be safe..." He continues when they pull apart.

She nods. "I'll see you soon."

Tony watches as the woman walks into the elevator with Coulson at her side, making light conversation with the older man.
