Everyone watches on screens as Loki stands cuffed in a large circular cell, Nick Fury standing on the other side of the glass. "In case it's unclear. You try to escape, you so much as scratch that glass," Fury presses a button that opens up a large door under the cell, "Thirty thousand feet, straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" The man points at the god through the glass, "Ant," then down to the button, "boot."

The god nods slowly, a smirk on his face, "It's an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me."

"Built for something a lot stronger than you."

The man in green chuckles, "Oh, I've heard," The man looked into the camera that sat in the corner of the cell, "The mindless beast, makes play he's still a man. How desperate are you, that you call on such lost creatures to defend you?"

Nick grew more agitated, "How desperate am I? You threaten my world with was. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace and you kill because it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did."

"Ooh. It burns you to come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share? And then to be reminded what real power is." Loki's smirk never left his face and he continued to look between the camera and the man In front of him.

"Well, you let me know if real power wants a magazine or something?" The Director of SHIELD turns and walks out of the room as the screens in front of the group above went black.

Y/n stands with the group around her in silence, trying to wrap their heads around what is happening.

The one to break the silence was Doctor Banner. "He really grows on you, doesn't he?"

Steve turned to Thor, "Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?"

The God paused a moment before responding, "He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people . They will win him the earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract."

The Captain's brow furrows, he is way out of his league. "An army? From outer space?"

"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce looked around the room at the people. They were finally starting to get somewhere.

Thor looked confused. "Selvig?"

"He's an astrophysicist."

"He's a friend."

Natasha spoke up. "Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours." Y/n looked at the woman with sad eyes, knowing who she was talking about as Clint Barton was one of her friends too.

Steve got the group back on track before the conversation steered too far off course. "I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here."

Bruce considered the idea before dismissing it, "I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell the crazy on him."

Thor got defensive, "Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard, and he's my brother."

"He killed eighty people in two days." The assassin spoke up.

"He's adopted."

This time, Bruce was the one to get the conversation back, "Iridium, what did they need the Iridium for?"

Tony Stark walked in the room, Phil Coulson by his side. "It's a stabilizing agent." He turns back to the agent by his side, "I'll fly you there. Keep the love alive." And back to the group, "Means the portal won't collapse on itself, like it did at SHIELD." He walked past Thor, "No hard feelings Point Break, you got a mean swing."
