These sound so beautiful I'm crying

LLJ

I'm listening to All I ask by Adele on repeat. I haven't been writing much because my mental health was great but now it's horrible. And I'm failing school and my mom told me I'm never gonna make anything of myself but it's okay... anyways why am I ranting? Idk. Do you care? no.

Also, opinions on the heart eater video?

Jaylani POV:

I woke up to Jahseh hovering over my face and staring at me. I smiled and slowly got up. Miriah wasn't in the front seat, I looked out the window and we were in my driveway. I was confused, I looked back at Jahseh.

"You fell asleep. And I know you haven't been sleeping well so I didn't want to wake you. You needed rest. Especially with this whole thing going on with... you know who."

Fuck.

I completely forgot that Tyrone was looking for me. The gap in my chest pulsated in pain as my anxiety built up, just by thinking about him.

I bit my lip, to keep it from quivering. Jahseh knew that when I heard his name it would hurt me, even if someone was referring to someone else named Tyrone. Painful memories would flood my head. Jahseh understood me.

He grabbed my face and kissed me slowly.

"I can tell when you're stressed. Or overthinking something. I got you, I will protect you. Even if I have to risk my life. I'll do it for you."

He gave me butterflies. I looked down, blushing. The hole in my chest closed a little, it's like he was a giant band-aid or stitches that mended what had been broken in my heart.

I mad contact with his hazelnut eyes, and his long curved eyelashes. There was a glimmer in his eye, like a light full of love.

He smiled close at me and caressed my cheek, sweeping a piece of hair from my face back and putting it behind my ear.

His touch gave me chills. He rubbed my cheek with his thumb and leaned in. He gave me a passionate kiss, not sloppy, not sexual, just pure love.

I couldn't even explain it, it was like fireworks went off inside me. Like my whole world lit up when he kissed me. He pulled away from me and pushed back my hair.

"I wanna take you somewhere," he said. Looking me directly in the eye.

I nodded. He jumped in the front seat and I jumped in the passenger seat.

I sat with my head in the direction of the window, feeling my hair being whipped around my face by the wind.

The sun was almost close to setting, the time read 6:52 pm.

"Wow, I was asleep for that long? And Jahseh stayed there the whole time?" I thought.

I smiled to myself and leaned farther out the window. In case there was any chance that he could see me.

I took a deep breath, the smell of sand and the salty ocean filled my nose. We were on a highway right over the ocean so I could hear the waves crashing, clashing with the music Jahseh was blasting.

(I never really talked about this but in this story, Jahseh never really uploads songs of him singing, it's all rap. He doesn't acknowledge his talent and he's really insecure about it. Also, if it's bolded and in italics, it's an author note.)
