It was 3:am. Jahseh and Jaylani had been sitting in the cafeteria for hours just talking. They didn't watch the clock and they didn't feel the time pass, because when they're together; time flies. 

Jaylani picked up her phone and her eyes widened.

"What's wrong?" Jahseh asked, grabbing her hand from across the table.

She smiled.

"Nothing, it's 3 am..."

Jahseh smiled and ran his hands through his dreads.

"Wow, we've been talking for 5 hours," Jahseh nodded to himself.

Jaylani yawned.

"Can we go back to the room?" She asked.

Jahseh nodded.

"I'll catch up with you in a bit. I gotta pee," Jahseh reassured her.

She nodded getting up and then kissing him on the lips.

Jahseh POV:

After I finished doing my buisness I walked to the sink to wash my hands. My head was hung low and I saw someone walk out of the stall. I looked up into the mirror and saw someone standing next to me.

I flinched.

I was shocked. He smiled, looking at my reflection.

"Hey son," he said in his raspy voice.

His voice sparked something in my brain, memories flashed before my eyes. 

My heart ached.

"Hi, Dad," I said in a small voice.

He faced me and smiled, then reached out and pulled me into his big arms.

I was numb. 

"W-Why....What are you doing here?" I shuttered.

"I could ask you the same thing," he chuckled.

"My, wife... is having a baby right now," he said lowly.

wife?

He's married?

I nodded and looked down, I couldn't even explain the pain I was in. I wanted to scream at him.

"I wanted to tell you, but... I know I put you a lot. And I admit, I was afraid of how you would take it. And I didn't want to hurt you more than I already have."

I just nodded and continued washing my hands.

We're gonna call his dad Dwayne. Cause him and Jah aren't close and he doesn't really consider him a dad.

Dwayne just smacked his lips.

"So, why are you here?" Dwayne asked.

"I got in a car crash with my girlfriend. Trying to save her from her crazy ex. I killed him. Ran his car off the road into the ocean," I said fidgeting with my fingers.

Dwayne's eyes widened.

"Geneva?" 

Ouch. That hurt.

"No, she put me in jail. Her name is Jaylani," I said nonchalantly. 

"Geneva put you in jail?!"
