Chapter 8 Part 1: A Class, A Cruise, A Burden, A Bruise

Y/N POV:

I laid sprawled out over my bed. My feet were dangling off the bed as half of my blanket covered my body. There were splotches of drool on my pillow from wear I had previously had my face. My school clothes were still on me and my previously decent hair was spread out over my face.

Ring Ring Ring!

My phone buzzed as the annoying ringtone blew up my ear drums. Can't I just get a nice peaceful nap on a Friday afternoon? Is that too much to ask for?

I groaned as I rolled over to get my phone. Lloyd was calling.

"What do you want?" I snapped at Lloyd for disturbing my sleep.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed!" He chuckled then proceeded to say, "I'm ready! I'll be at your house in 10 minutes!"

"Why are you coming to my house?" I asked as I plopped my face back down on my pillow.

"Um... school?" He said confused.

"I'm done with school! I'm ready for this three day weekend!" I muffled through my pillow.

"Don't you remember Y/N? We're going on that cruise!" Lloyd puffed out in excitement.

I shot off of my pillow. Rest will have to wait for now. I am so confused with Lloyd! "What cruise?" I asked Lloyd.

"Oh no... don't tell me you forgot" Lloyd mumbled into the phone.

My eyes widened. I hope it wasn't that important. "Lloyd. Please tell me. What cruise?"

"Remember on Monday how Mrs. Williams called us to the front to tell us that we were going on a cruise to learn a few things over the three day weekend." Lloyd stated.

"Pfft yeah! I remember that! That's next week, isn't it?" I asked a little more calmly. I was pretty sure it was next week..

"Umm, no Y/N. That's this week. We are leaving today." Lloyd said.

My eyes grew big and a scared smiled spread across my face, "That is?"

"Yep" Lloyd popped the 'p.' "Oh and by the way I am five minutes from your house" Lloyd added.

"Okayseeyouin5" I squeaked and ended the phone call.

"OMGOSH I'M NOT EVEN PACKED YET!" I yelled frantically then began to get a suitcase that just so happened to be green and throw clothes into the chosen suit case. The next minute became a scene from Home Alone where they all had to get ready really quickly because they woke up too late.

I need to get packed fast! 

I threw random clothes in my suitcase.

Almost forgot a towel!

I ran to the bathroom and got a shower towel and a swim towel.

Ooh! I need a swimsuit!

I ran back to my room a dug through my draws for a swimsuit. I found a purple one piece swimsuit.
