It's insanely crowded in Miz's house and the music is blasted loud.

"Is this what you pictured?" Dean yells over the music.

"No...can you tell this is the first real party I've been to?" I ask and he nods.

"But don't feel bad, I'm not huge on parties either." He admits.

"So I've noticed."

Dean and I push through the crowd and we see Roman and Sasha dancing extremely close together.

"Oh." I accidentally say and Dean and I laugh.

"I wasn't expecting that." Dean raises his eyebrow.

"Me either to be honest, but I guess I should've since they are always flirting with each other." I tell him.

I honestly wouldn't mind my two best friends dating, they seem to like each other a lot.

"So, you wanna dance?" Dean offers, making my eyes widen.

"Huh?" I manage to breathe out.

"I mean...you don't have to." Dean was losing his confidence.

"I'd love to Dean." I say and Dean's smile grows.

Dean grabs my hand and pulls me to an empty spot.

Coincidentally, a slow song plays and everyone pairs up to dance.

"I'm going to be honest with you...I don't really know how to dance." Dean admits and I giggle.

"I'm not a very good dancer either, but I can help teach you." I offer.

I pull Dean closer to me and wrap my arms around his neck, I tell him to wrap his arms around my waist and he does.

"This is...different." Dean whispers and I smile.

I watch as Dean moves to the music and gets more comfortable.

"See? You're already getting the hang of it."

As we continue dancing, I can feel Dean moving closer to me. Closer than usual.
My face has never been so close to someone before.

My breathing hitches and I can feel my face heating up.
I look up at Dean, his eyes are shut closed.

"Dean." Is all I can say.

"Yes?"

"What are you doing?" I whisper as my eyes slowly flutter open and closed.

He doesn't answer.

I can see Dean slightly tilt his head towards mine.
If I didn't know any better I'd say he was leaning in to kiss me.

"Seth!" Dean says in a panicked voice.

I open my eyes and I realize I'm having trouble breathing.

"Seth, are you okay?" He asks, his eyes full of concern.

I open my mouth to speak but nothing comes out.

"Don't say anything, let's sit down and I'll get you a glass of water." Dean pulls me through the crowd and sits me down in front of the table in the kitchen.

I watch him as he pours me a glass of water.
He sits next to me and waits as I drink.

"I'm sorry." I mumble when I'm done gulping down the last of my water.

"Don't apologize, I shouldn't have gotten so close up to you like that without your permission." Dean stares at the floor.

Silence falls between us.

I hesitantly look up at him, "Then why did you?"

"I—" Dean starts to speak but is interrupted by Miz.

"Hey guys. How are you enjoying the party so far?" He he walks into the room with a smug face.

"You interrupted our conversation." I say coldly.

"Damn, I'm sorry." Miz says sarcastically and I roll my eyes, "You need to cool down Seth...I know the perfect way to help you do that."

Miz pulls out a large glass of wine and hands it to me.
I stare at him in confusion.

"He doesn't drink." Dean says, already staring daggers into Miz.

"You don't? You've never drank wine before?" Miz moves the glass back in forth in my face.

"What are you trying to do, hypnotize me or some shit?" I mock and Dean tries to hold back his laughter.

"C'mon Seth, don't be a pussy..."

"I already said he doesn't drink. Back off, Miz." Dean snaps.

"Are you really going to let Dean speak for you? Don't you want some freedom for once?" Miz continues to tease me.

My eyes move back a forth to the glass of wine and Dean's eyes.

I snatch the glass of his hands and I can hear a quiet gasp from Dean.

"Seth..." Dean's eyes widen as he watches me bring the glass to my lips.

I give him a look to tell him not to worry and take a sip.
I scrunch my face in disgust afterwards and Miz laughs at me.

"Well that wasn't so bad, was it?" Miz smirks, "I have more wine if you need some."

Dean glares at Miz as he walks away.

Once Miz is gone, Dean grabs it from my hands.

"Hey." I try to reach for the glass again.

"Seth, please stop." Dean begs and I sigh in defeat.

Dean had told me about his parents being alcoholics so I knew he didn't enjoy watching people drink wine too much.

"Okay...I'll stop." I say and Dean smiles.

"Thank you." Dean dumps the rest of the wine into the sink.

"What do you say we leave this party? We aren't so into it anyway." Dean suggests.

"I agree, Miz is a dick too. I don't want to be in his house any longer."

"Neither do I." Dean says and we sneak out of the house.
