Back in the 2099 Dimension.
Miguel, the Dazzlings, and Harry were moving throughout the futuristic city.
Miguel: Man this spider sense really is a treat! I can sense the fragment already!
Sonata: Well that's great to hear!
Aria: Yeah, I can't believe we're getting the easy fragments!
Adagio: Okay Miguel, lead the way.
Miguel: Well the weird thing is, its closing in on us.
Harry: Wait what, how can that be?
However a winged figure attacks our heroes, and sends them flying into the wall of a building.
Sonata: Ow that hurt.
Miguel: Way too much.
The figure lands in front of them.
???: Ah, ah, ah! Don't fade on me yet Spider.
The voice sounded way too familiar, almost like Norman, when he was the Green Goblin. Except this "goblin" was purple skinned, he had red eyes, horns, and a mechanical-like body. His wings were also strange looking, Miguel was most aware of it.
Aria: A goblin!
Miguel: He looks more like a demonic kumquat!
Sonata: You said it!
???: Call me Hobgoblin! Every Team Spider needs one.
Adagio: Well you're not the first goblin we've had to deal with.
Hobgoblin: Oh, but I've got something that the other goblins haven't.
Hobgoblin pulls out the fragment.
Team 2099: THE FRAGMENT!!
Aria: Alright asshole give it us now!
Hobgoblin: You'll have to catch me first!
Hobgoblin spreads his wings and takes off.
Harry: We can't let him get away. If he absorbs the fragment, that could spell disaster.
Miguel jumps off the building to chase after Hobgoblin. The Dazzlings use their pendants to sprout their wings, and Harry shifts his glider into full burst. The chase begins, Hobgoblin increases his speed, but the heroes begin gaining on him. Miguel webs onto him, and begins punching him. They fly into a subway where trains are passing by. The Dazzlings use their magic to fly him into trains! Harry slashes him across the back and throws razor bats into his back.
Hobgoblin: AAH! GET OFF OF ME!
Sonata jumps onto his back and sends him onto the ground, and tries to shove a ghost pepper down his throat!!
Sonata: WHAT'S WRONG HOBBY!! YOU CAN'T TAKE THE SPICE!
Hobgoblin: ENOUGH!
He soon blows Sonata off with his wings.
Aria: Woah, those wings are powerful!
Miguel: You're telling me! I've never seen anyone like him before!
Hobgoblin: Well then how about we play a game!? WITH BOMBS!
Hobgoblin pulls out two bombs and throws them at his enemies.
Miguel webs them and throws them back at him. Hobgoblin goes down, and the gang rush attack him!
Hobgoblin gets back up and attacks with his wings once again!
