Roman's POV
It's all fun and games until Pat makes you do the dishes.
I mean, come on?! I could be off fighting dragon-witches and fangirling over Frozen II in the mindscape instead of having my hands in the sink!
Then I remembered we had a dishwasher.
Time skip 2 minutes------------
So, I was sitting on the couch, reading Pride and Prejudice (Yes, despite what Logan says, I can read) when I heard it:
"When I look into your eyes,
I can see a love restraint.
But darling when I hold you,
Don't you know I feel the same?
We've been through this such a long long time
Just trying to kill the pain.
But nothing lasts forever
Even cold November Rain..."
Virgil must not have his headphones fully plugged in. Logan needs to convince that emo nightmare to stop moping and come join us for breakfast. Jeez.
Virgil's POV
My vision cleared. My head still hurt, but other than that, I felt great. I don't know how, but it worked. Logan must have found my radio on my nightstand and turned it on.
Then I looked up.
It was HIM SINGING.
OMG. HE SOUNDS PERFECT.
"Logan.. Please.. don't tell the other sides about this." I sighed.
"I wasn't planning on it," said Logan, "Though it could be beneficial to your mental health to talk to them about it, I understand why you wouldn't want to tell them. Patton would.." He stopped for a moment to look at a vocab card. "..Initiate full dad-mode."
"Yeah," I said, "He would."
"Well, we must be getting to breakfast. Patton said he will make pancakes."
"Hey Logan, Can I ask you a question?"
"I mean, you just did, but sure."
"Why don't you sing ever?"
