AUDRINA
It's been a few days now since I had come back and both Maynard and I started all over again.
Terrance was going to come over today and tell us about what all was going on and how it went when he went back to Hamilton's house.
In the meantime, because I was able to rest up, today after waking up, I thought it would be good if I can see if Thorne or one of the other guys can show me some fighting moves.
So when I went downstairs and saw Norm and Reece first, I asked them if they would show me some moves and they agreed to. We then went out in the backyard since they had some time to kill and started showing me some moves.
I had always wondered in what made them all one of the most strongest and fearful set of werewolves.
"You know, I can see some similarities in attack moves as us wolves do but, I can see the distinction." I tell them.
Suddenly we see the front door swing open abruptly and bounce off the wall behind the door before he slams it shut.
We hurried inside and stopped abruptly the moment we saw Maynard stomping towards the kitchen and we hear him slamming the cupboards then while Norm and Reece start to head out while I debate rather or not I should go into my room or see what's up.
"Go and see if he's okay." My wolf tells me.
"But he's real upset and don't want him to lose it even more because of me." I tell her.
"Yeah well, in case you haven't noticed. Since you came back, he hasn't lost his temper around you and seems to be more attentive than ever before." She tells me.
"So?" I ask her.
Before she could say anything else, I suddenly feel something knock me back a little.
"Shit!" I heard him say.
Oh god. I am dead. Despite the fact that he was the one that just turned the corner and happened to spill his drink on himself because he didn't see me.
"I am so sorry." I start telling him.
He seems to next let out a sigh before softening his facial expression.
"It's alright. It was my fault." He says while walking back into the kitchen and grabbing the dish towel then wetting it and tries to wipe it off his shirt.
"Don't do that. It'll make the stain worse. Here, give it to me." I tell him as I hold out my hand.
He waits a moment and then sets down the towel and removes his shirt and oh my god, his tattoos, a few scars he has and the physique. So chiseled and built.
"You okay?" I hear him ask me.
I quickly snap back to the moment and realize I am staring. So I shake my head and clear my throat.
"Yeah. I um, I'm gonna go and try and get this out for you." I tell him then turn and try to hide the embarrassment as I walk towards the laundry room down the hall and when I get in there, I start to put a bunch of things on it before I then start scrubbing the stain and then preparing to put it into the washer.
Once I put it in and get it going, I next turn around and notice that he's standing just a couple of feet away.
"It'll take just twenty minutes then just put it in the dryer." I tell him.
"Thank you." He says.
"You're welcome." I tell him.
We stand there for a brief moment later before I start heading up the stairs but before I can get past the first step I feel him grab hold of my hand but not too tightly and I look at him as he looks at me and I can't explain it but somehow we both seemed to want to lean in and kiss each other but as we got only a few centimeters away from one another's lips, he stops.
"I'm sorry. We should..." He starts.
"Uh yeah. I should go and prepare for Terrance to come over." I tell him hiding the fact that I feel a little hurt.
I can tell he wants to stop me and say something else while nervously rubbing the back of his neck before I just leave.
Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
