Bėgiojau po parduotuves stengdamasi išrinkti tinkamas dovanas artėjantiems Emily bei El gimtadieniams. Pradėjau nervintis nerasdama nieko tinkamo. Nusprendusi, jog pavėluosiu, palikau prekybos centrą ir patraukiau link pastaruoju metu dažnai lankomo pastato. Studija. Užėjau ir pasisveikinusi su jau pažįstama mergina nukulniavau į vidų.

Šalia sėdėjęs mano amžiaus vaikinas kažką sušnibždėjo jam į ausį ir šis pagalvojęs linktelėjo. Vaikinas man nusišypsojo ir iškėlė vieną nykštį.

Pabaigoje šiek tiek susigraudinau, bet greitai išsklaidžiau atmintyje iškilusias žalias akis ir rudas garbanas. Atsisukau į vyriškį, kuris plačiai šypsojo.

-Taip! Tai yra tai, ko aš ieškau!-sušuko jis.-Šaunuolė, Alex, šiandien baigėme. Susitiksime kitą kartą.-pasakė ir aš linktelėjau.

Išėjusi iš pastato beveik iškart surinkau Barbaros numerį.

-Nepatikėsi kas nutiko.-pasakiau jai nespėjus nieko ištarti.

-Susitaikei su Harry?-paklausė.

-Ką? Ne.-susiraukiau.-Jie pagaliau įrašė mano dainą.-pasakiau.

-Juokauji?!-sušuko.-Kurią?

-Tikrai? Maniau tai bus kuri nors kita.-sumurmėjo.-Turiu omeny, ji gera, tiesiog į kitas tu įdėjai daugiau darbo.

-Yeah, aš taip pat to nesitikėjau.-atsidusau.-Bet kokiu atveju, kitą kartą įrašysime ką nors linksmesnio.

-Taip, ką nors kas nėra apie Harry.-sarkastiškai pasakė.

-Barbara..-numykiau.

Troy vis dar buvo pas Jessica, todėl trumpam grįžau namo. Nekantraudama atsiverčiau kompiuterį ir įdėjusi į jį mažą atmintuką paspaudžiau reikiamą failą. Išgirdau savo balsą ir šypsena automatiškai pakilo. Tai buvo nuostabus jausmas. Užsimerkiau klausydama savo dainos ir priešais akis stovėjo Harry veidas. Visos akimirkos su juo ir Troy. Rytai, kai atsikeldavome kartu. Visi gražūs dalykai, kurių dabar nėra. Pasiilgau jo.
