Sometime last week, Hikari_Yukisan Recommended that I should write more angst and then I realized that I really enjoyed writing it. 

PLEASE READ THIS CAPTION BEFORE YOU GO TO THE ONE-SHOT, IT'S VERY IMPOATANT!!!

So, this is a one shot where Todoroki and the others are friends with y/n and they discover that y/n is HIV positive and things...go differently. This is a college Au and it's set in the '90s when the HIV/AIDS epidemic was still in its early stage and people were still naive and ignorant about it and how it actually spreads.

I was inspired by the episode 'A different world' when Josie was being bullied cause she had AIDS and I really loved how powerful the episode was just like every episode of the show.

1995     

"(y/n)! Have you heard, Boyz II Men is coming to Japan!" Ochaco cheered. 

"Really, they're coming here?!" 

"Yeah! The concert is next week and Momo's trying to get tickets now, I'm so excited!" Ashido bounced up and down. You and all the others cheered. 

"It's been forever since I've been to a concert." You say. 

"Yeah, since you've become an Anime nerd you barely do other stuff." Ochaco says.

"Hey! Dragon Ball is a good show." You defended yourself. 

Tsuyu and Hagakure giggled at you. "We're all going to Starbucks, wanna come?" Hagakure asked. 

"I'd love too, but I'm gonna hang back. I have to help Midoriya with a few things, but I'll catch up with you guys later." You called out. 

"Alright, bye!" Ochaco called out.

Campus Health Center 

"Hey Deku, I'm here." You say entering the room. 

"Hey (y/n), I'm so glad you could make it. Thank you so much for helping out." The curly-haired boy smiles.

"It's no trouble. I'm really glad you're doing this seminar for the awareness of HIV and AIDS. It's a lot of people still blind to the dangers of it."

"You're right and (y/n), do you really want to do this. I don't want you to feel like you're being forced to speak about it." Deku says while taking your hand. 

"I want to, I'm not afraid to speak about it. And, they're my friends." You say.

"You're so brave (y/n), I'm so proud of you. I love you so much." Deku says while pulling you into a tight hug which you gladly returned.

"Hey, we've got all the pamphlets." Kirishima says while entering the room with Denki. 

"Thanks guys, you can just put them on the table." Deku says. 

"I'm only doing this because it gets me out of Calculus." Bakugou says while bringing in the last few chairs. 

"Whatever you say Kacchan." Deku says. 

"You (y/n), got any plans this weekend?" Denki says while sitting in one of the chairs next to you. "Depends, are you trying to ask me out or something?" You giggle. 

"Nope, just wanna hang out with a friend." 

That's when Bakugou whacked Deki upside the head with a pamphlet. "Get off your ass and help me!" Denki quickly gets up and follows Bakugou.
