So Much More Than a Kiss

Mare: ......then we kissed, and fell in love. That's why you are here.

Cori: You kissed, and then I was born?

Mare: No, I said we—

Clara: No, she said they kissed, fell in love, and that's why you're here.

Cori: But how was I born?

Shade: Kilorn says men give their wives babies. Is it like buying babies from a store?

Mare: No. It's, well.....

Clara: Mom says that men stick something in a woman's tummy, and that is the baby.

Shade: How does a man stick a baby in their wife's tummy?

Clara: Mom says that men put something inside—

Mare: Okay! No more of that talk.

Shade: But what does—

Cori: What do men put inside—

Mare: Will you look at the time, I have to go to work!

Cal, walking into the living room: Didn't you say that this was your day off?

Shade: Daddy, what does a man put inside a woman?

Cal: Where did you get that idea?

(Shade looks at Clara, then she gets a glare from Cal)

Clara: What? My mom told me.

Mare: It doesn't mean you should tell everybody you know.

Clara: I'm not telling you, though.

Cal: That's because—

Clara: You knew. Right?

Shade: Where's my toy?!? I left it right here!

Mare, relieved: It's right here.

And that does it for the funny. I don't think I did very well.

But anyway, I lost my iPad for a few days, then freaked out, then found it, hence why I posted this.
