( 🚨 Long chapter ahead 🚨 )
∆~×~∆
It was Sunday, and as planned, I was in front of Ved's house which was intimidating me, just like the guy who lived in it. The building, painted in mostly white with a few splashes of my second favourite colour blue was looking surreal.
"Mam, your name please?" one of the security guards asked.
"Sandhya Rai," I replied and continued admiring the colossal house.
"You may enter. Please park your vehicle in the parking lot alloted for visitors," he directed, and I maneuvered my dad's scooter through a long concrete driveway before reaching the space to park it.
There was a huge garden between the three storey house and the main gates. All kinds of flora and fauna were in it and a medium sized swimming pool was resting on the left side with some deck chairs around it.
After parking my transportation, I thanked the security guard who guided me. I observed the lush lawn with a few tables and chairs; I knew Ved was rich but didn't expect him to be this loaded.

My doubt was proven again when I entered the house through the 10 feet long metal doors. The place looked modern from the outside, but it was nothing less than a castle.
A maid welcomed me and after confirming that I was the girl who was supposed to come for group studies, she took me through a long corridor with white walls on both sides.
My mouth was in a permanent 'O' shape by the time I reached the main hall which was again a sight to see. I was standing in the middle of a huge marbled floor covered with a soft red rug and a huge staircase running on the left side.
A lavish cream coloured sofa set was placed on the right side, sporting a big LED Smart TV mounted on the wall opposite the main couch while a small dining table was on my left, near the entrance of a kitchen which I was sure was four times bigger than my house.
