Wang's mansion

Yuan halted Xiao Jian's hand which is holding the knob of Wang Yi Bo's bedroom door. "Teacher Zhan said, the confession wasn't true. So why are we still doing this?!"

Jian glared back at Yuan with disbelief. It was the two of them who connived to investigate about their brothers' past acquaintance. "Chicken." Jian shrugged Yuan's arm, resolute to suffice their curiosity. Despite Yuan's hesitance, Jian pushed opened the door saying with a smirk, "We're here now. There's no harm in looking."

Both of them haven't been to Yi Bo's room before, of course that is because they're afraid of Yi Bo's intimidating character. Astonished and dumbfounded, the two gasped in awe, it wasn't a messy lair they thought it would have been.

His trophies are arranged compulsively neat in a glass shelf affixed to a bright wall. His skateboards, helmets, baseball bat and other sports equipment are pleasingly displayed on the opposite wall, as if in a sports merchandise store. It was a spectacular display with striking style and pleasing order.

"It's really wrong to judge someone based on the outside shell." Jian say with a head-shake.

He then proceeded to peek on the drawer. Hoping to find a note, a picture, a trinket or what-so-ever connected to his brother. Half-heartedly, Yuan followed.

They have exhausted themselves in the last 2 hours, examining, searching, flipping the room upside-down. Yet, there was nothing.

They plopped their tired body on Wang Yi Bo's bed, thinking about their wasted 2 hours of life.

"Maybe, you should trust your brother's words more." Yuan said in a reprimanding tone. Jian glared at his friend again, sitting straight up. "You're annoyingly ignorant." His lips curling upwards as his eyes landed on the jackpot.

Yuan was about to retaliate, but Jian has already moved away, eyes fixed on a wall frame. He followed him as he walked near an art appendage hanging opposite the headboard. It was the first thing anyone would land their eyes on once they've woken from that bed.

It was a sunrise on a beach painting with 2 persons, one bicycle with a peculiar motorcycle shaped shadow beneath.

The blue water has a weird silhouette of Chinese characters, the 2 was too obvious not to see. The first means: Wang, the second: Yi. The next a bit more vague but upon close inspection, means: Bo.

At the bottom was a familiar signature.

"My brother's signature!" Jian exclaimed excitedly.

Yuan was shocked speechless. He only managed to stare at Jian who had taken the painting off the wall to properly inspect for anymore clues.

He was indenial for something he isn't sure what is as well. He asked himself, 'Are the rumors really true? Then why did Teacher Zhan denied his brother's confession?'

He was spacing out and accidentally seized the painting from Jian's hands. It fell off the floor, frame shattering to pieces.

"We're doomed!" Jian knelt down gathering the broken pieces. But who knows it might have been a blessing in disguise! Below the art was a neat penmanship of his brother.

'Bo-di, I hope you reach your dreams. I'm sorry...and thank you. --Zhan-ge'

Author's note:

Please see the picture attached for the painting reference. It was painted by XZ himself for an advert, and there are actually rumors it was meant for WYB, as during the time, WYB lost a motorcycle race.

I am a bit skeptical with fans saying the weird silhouette in the water means Wang YiBo, but I can't deny the fact that the Wang character is a bit obvious. It is also a bit peculiar to have such waves forming a character, unless intended.

However, I am more skeptical with the accusations regarding the bicycle shadow. In my perspective, it is a bicycle shadow and NOT a motorcycle shadow.

I love YiZhan but I keep reminding myself, don't confuse facts with illusions. Just saying 😂😂😂

Love me or hate me, your choice 😘
