Xiao Zhan's world stopped when he received Jennie's call. All he can feel is his heart thumping fast inside his rib cage. Mixed feelings of jitters, exultant joy and hopefulness overwhelmed his being.

He made a sharp U-turn and speed up his car following his GPS' direction, driving in frenzy as if he wouldn't survive any more minute without seeing Yi Bo.

The location was a rural area by the seaside. A lone massive house stood impressively majestic, peaceful and quiet, away from bustle of the city.

Zhan randomly parked his car at the front, half running towards the door, buzzing while his heart continuously banged in his chest.

The door swung open, and Xiao Zhan's heart fell on the ground. A young man with a kind and smiling demenour stood in front of him.

As he stared at him, thoughts of insecurity and feelings of jealousy crept inside him.

He did not expect such a man exists in Yi Bo's life.

The man saw Zhan's hesitant gaze, he bowed to him still with his unfading smile, offering his hand for an introduction.

"It's nice to finally meet you. I am Hai Kuan."

Zhan snapped out from his jealousy, accepting Hai Kuan's hand with his lost self confidence.

Hai Kuan is quite perceptive, reading between Zhan's distant gaze. He chuckled softly shaking his head slightly, realizing that both Yi Bo and Zhan have lots of things to mend and talk about.

"I am Huang Hai Kuan. Dr. Huang Zi Teng's son." he clarified which made Zhan tilt his head and mouth agape.

Hai Kuan nodded his head, "And yes. I am Yi Bo's cousin."

Zhan audibly sighed in relief, then tapping away the breaths caught in his lungs. At last, he was able to smile back at Hai Kuan.

"I am like his older brother. So you don't have to see me as a rival." Hai Kuan teased Zhan, making the atmosphere more breathable.

"Yi Bo's in the first room on the second floor. I think both of you need to sort out something important. So, I won't further delay you."

Zhan smiled to Hai Kuan, appreciating his kindness and hospitality.

His steps felt heavier as he came nearer where Yi Bo is. His heart thumps audibly loud, his palms sweating with anxiety.

He took one deep breath as he stand in front of the room, and silently wished for things to go well. He can't afford to lose Yi Bo again. He won't forgive himself if he hurts him again.

Full of hope, Xiao Zhan went inside Yi Bo's room and caught a sillhouette of a person bleakly standing by the balcony. The curtain artistically swayed with the wind trying to shroud the person Zhan's heart had raced and ached for.

"Yi Bo." he called onto him.

Yi Bo stood there frozen, feeling delusional to hear Zhan's voice.

"Bo-di." Zhan said making Yi Bo realize the reality of the voice. He stiffly turn towards Zhan's direction, and when he saw him, his eyes widen in shock, he wanted to ran away, but with his casted leg he knows there would be no point in moving at all.

"Didi." Xiao Zhan called onto him again, the words automatically making Yi Bo's chest hurt. His eyes uncommandingly shed tears despite the fight to stay strong. In a split second, he realized he was sobbing. He lifted his arms to shroud his unsightly crying face, but felt warm hands gently grasping it, pushing it back down to his sides, interlacing his clumsy fingers between the other's gentle slender ones.
