19 • Natsuo the Matchmaker

IM SO PISSSED

I THOUGHT I UPLOADED ON TUESDAY BUT WATTPAD DECIDED TO GLITCH AND SAID IT UPDATED AND GAVE ME A NOTIFICATION THAT I HAD BUT IT SAVED IT AS A DRAFT. I WAS WONDERING WHY NO ONE WAS SAYING ANYTHING LOL. I'm really sorry....

But guys.... the new My Hero opening and ending have me so happy! I'm so excited for this new arc! (but please no spoilers!)

Anyway, here's the long-awaited chapter!

Time: Around 9:00 pm (21:00)

"Look at you in such a pitiful state... it makes me almost feel sorry for you." 

"Ugh, just fuck off, just take that remorse and shove it up to your asshole. H-How'd you even get in here. There is no way they would've let you in at this time."

"I have my ways, but why are you being so harsh? It would be nicer if I was you. After all, I'm the one who could do something about this situation since you are too incompetent to do it yourself. But will I? Well, it all just depends on how you behave~"

"Just get to the point, I'm tired as hell. Why'd ya have to visit me so late..." 

"You already know the answer to that question. But anyway, the point of this visit was to take back that little thing that I gave you."

"You mean that? Jeez, you're stupid. You even said it yourself, it is nearly impossible to take once it's been given already."

"Nearly, but not completely. You see, I've found a way to get back that gift I so graciously gave to you. It may be a little painful, but hey, that's the price to pay for not being of use to me."

"I really suggest that you don't do that..."

"Why?"

"Because without me, the little chess pieces in your twisted game wouldn't have been able to start moving. Other than you of course, do you know how much influence I have over the outcome of this plan? 

"Hmm, I sense a little bit of blackmail is trying to be used here. Fine, I'll let you keep it. It wouldn't damage anything anyway since you only have the prototype. The real deal is almost here anyway. And I've worked so hard on it too!"

"I don't really understand but right now, I don't give a fuck. Can you leave now? I'm not in the mood to carry on with this conversation."

"Fine. The next time we meet hopefully it will be under better circumstances."

"Whatever."

"Oh Y/N, it's nice to see you again, why don't you come on in!" said Fuyumi as she let Y/N into the Todoroki house. It was as quiet as usual, not much going on until Fuyumi and Y/N hear a loud crash coming from the dining room. They both rushed over and opened the doors to see a half-frozen Hawks and a Natsuo pinned to the wall with feathers. 

"Oh, hey," Shoto said, as he sat at one end of the table. Both Hawks and Natuso looked at the girls and immediate fear waved over their bodies.

"What the hell is going on here," Y/N said as she faced turned into a scowl.

"I only left you guys for 2 minutes, what could have possibly happened..." Fuyumi said in slight disappointment. 

"Nothing really," Natsuo chuckled, "Just how this creep here has a total man-crush on our dad," he burst out laughing. 

"I DON'T! He's just a good hero and I've admired him since I was a tiny kid. Why'd you have to make it weird," Hawks yelled at the white-haired male. 

"N-Natsuo, I don't think Hawks meant it in that way..." Fuyumi tried to calm down the tension between the two. 

"Suureee," Natsuo sarcastically said, "But hey, if he starts doing weird shit like, I don't know, stalking our dad, I might have to tell you to back up," he laughed again, only no one was really laughing with him.

"You know what, why don't we get you off the wall and unfreeze Hawks so we can just eat in peace," Y/N said walking over to Natsuo and unplucking the feathers from his shirt pinned to the wall. "Oh, and by the way," Y/N whispered to Natsuo while Shoto and Fuyumi were busy trying to unfreeze Hawks, "Why is Hawks here? You said in your text that I'd just be us and your siblings." 

"Well..." he trailed, "Long story short, you promised to give Hawks a date, so he wanted ideas for something, he came to me, I suggested 'hey you guys should go to a fancy restaurant or a picnic and look at the stars' or some sappy shit like that, and then he was like ' eh, I don't know, it might be kinda awkward since the last time we were alone we k-' then he stopped himself and I was like, 'what was that', and he was like, 'oh nothing, nevermind', and so anyways I suggested that I go with you guys with Shoto as my brotherly date so it wouldn't be too awkward and after fighting about where to go we settled for here and now here we are," he took a very deep breath after that constant string of words. 

"O....kay...." Y/N said, "Well don't you realize this will just be way more awkward?" she questioned.

"Nope." he simply stated. Y/N gave him a blank stare as she disappointingly shook her head. 

"Whatever, we are here now so there is nothing we can do. I'll just," she looked around the table at where she would sit, "Sit between Shoto and Hawks then..." she said as she went to go take her seat. Natsuo flashed her a big thumbs up and did a silent holler as she took her seat. 

"I'm gonna go help Fuyumi with some of the food, so I'll be right back. Don't do anything too naughty while I'm gone you lovebirds~" he winked as he grabbed Shoto, who did not care and went towards the kitchen.

When Natsuo and Shoto finally entered the kitchen where Fuyumi was, he grew this abnormally proud smile.

"You see that guys, the plan is already working! All we need now is you two to do your parts correctly. Do you remember what you guys were assigned to do?" Natsuo asked his two confused siblings. They both looked at each other and then back at Natsuo, obviously not knowing what to do. "Jeez, I'm only going to say this once again. Fuyumi, you are supposed to compliment Y/N and Hawks so that they might notice something about each other that they didn't before, and Shoto, you need to be the protective "brother" who's overprotectiveness will make them realize that they can't screw this relationship up. Got it?"

"Uh, I don't think that this is the right way to do things," said Fuyumi.

"And my job is the instigator, who will make them answer awkward questions so they will ultimately be more comfortable around each other." Natsuo continued, ignoring Fuyumi. "Any questions," he looked between the two siblings, who were just honestly so done at this point, "None, ok! Let operation 'Get my best friend/childhood friend/ex-girlfriend to have a successful date with my other best friend/absolute hottie/chicken-lover and have them fall in love and have babies together'........
