Hey guys! I was thinking I could give [R/T/K/N] the name of Sprucekit. Should I do that or leave his "name" as it is? Thanks! I'm so sorry for the late updates, I've had piles and piles of homework but it should stop soon. Anything  after this is going to have strong spoilers from Omen Of The Stars. I hope you enjoyed though! (No, neither Jayfeather or [Y/W/N] are going to die. Don't worry, this is just so more fluffy stuff can build up!)

[Y/W/N] yawns and stretches as she wakes up, Jayfeather doing the same. [Y/W/N] licks his ear as to say good morning and he hisses in shock before remembering that she was next to him. "You're so jumpy." "And you're so annoying." "Pf. Say, isn't today the Gathering?" "Yeah. I can already hear the apprentices bickering about it." Yeah, let's just hope they can keep a secret. Briarlight was still asleep but thanks to Jayfeathers loud stomping, she wouldn't be for long. [Y/W/N] yawns again and steps out of the den. Cats were tilting heads at her, tails flicking with curiosity and questions. Lucky me.  A small, warm gust of wind hits her. She nearly jumps out of her fur out of shock. Leaf-fall was coming quickly. She groans. Oh, Starclan, please give us good prey this leaf-bare... She pads over to the fresh kill pile, picking out a vole for herself and Jayfeather to share. [Y/W/N] would've got something for Briarlight but she was drowsily walking out of the den herself. The clan turns to look at her, puffing out chests and still congratulating her for her catch. Briarlight actually picks something decent out of the fresh kill pile, it being a rather plump mouse. [Y/W/N] sees Cherrypaw bounce happily at this, and Molepaw gives her a nudge on the shoulder. That must've been her catch. A good one for her size, too. [Y/W/N]s tail instinctively raises upon seeing this. She loved Clanlife. She brings the vole over to Jayfeather, who was violently tearing apart his herb storage. "Poppyseeds, yarrow, no... Where's the Starclan-cursed catmint?" He hisses in frustration and angrily lashes a paw at one of his herb piles, before smelling the catmint directly under it. "Herbs aren't supposed to have legs." He growled out of frustration and relief. "So is that a no to the vole, or..." Jayfeather snaps his head around. He says nothing but settles next to her. "You can have first bite," she meowed, "but you seem worried today. You okay?" Jayfeather flicks his ear. "Yeah. Leafbares are nothing to look forward to, though." He takes a bite out of the prey. "True, but we still have some time to prepare. Speaking of that I should probably ask Firestar if we can begin digging a hole in the ground to keep the prey fresh longer. I mean, it's early, but better safe than sorry." Jayfeather swallows and nods. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind, so long as warriors don't overwork themselves." "Touché," [Y/W/N] tucks into the prey. All of the warriors were up now. Jayfeather and [Y/W/N] finish the vole and exit the den, just as Firestar was announced the gathering. Cats began crowding around him and   [Y/W/N] joined them, Jayfeather strolling in behind. Lionblaze bolts up to her. "So, how has it been with my brother?" He meows. "Pretty good, believe it or not,"  [Y/W/N] snorts. "He's a good cat, really." She finishes. "Yeah, he really is," Lionblaze says. Thunderclan makes it to the crossing log. Cats leap onto it. I really hope this goes okay. Not looking forward to an encounter with Breezepelt, though. The expression on Jayfeathers face tells her he thought the same. They finally get to the island. The other clans were waiting for them, with no sign of unusual suspicion. Firestar climbs on top of the rock with the other leaders. Cats begin to avert their attention to them. Blackstar decides to speak up first. "...Shadowclan has been doing well." He pauses. "I've been warned that a dark time is coming. A battle. We have been strengthening our camp and herb storage. Have any other leaders been notified?" This time, Firestar speaks up. "I did have one. Besides that, Thunderclan is doing the same. Whatever this is, it won't be a normal battle. Windclan, Riverclan, what have you heard?" Mistystar tilts her head. "The same." "Indeed," Onestar adds. [Y/W/N] notices Breezepelt staring directly at her but try's not to make eye contact. Chills go down her spine. Jayfeather only stares blankly at his leader, not moving an inch. "I don't know what Starclan has in store, but we'll need to do this together. It's four clans, and without one, we collapse!" Firestar  yowled. Onestar stands up and meows his ageeement. "Firestar is right. Starclan will not warn us of an ordinary battle. This is going to be more than that, this may be a prophecy. We need to solve this as one." Their clanmates began to agree. [Y/W/N] felt confidence surging through her. Mistystar looked worried, but nonetheless joined them. "As one!" She meowed. Blackstar lashes his tale. "As one, if we must. No clan will fall!" [Y/W/N] sees a cat she recognizes as Cinderheart cheering next to Lionblaze. She joins in too, and soon all of their clanmates cheer for their glory; but Breezepelt was still staring at her, with no hint of his emotions. The cheering begins to die out, and clans desperate again. Breezepelt finally turns away. I wonder what that was about. [Y/W/N] stands up to go over to Jayfeather and go back to camp. It's gotten dark, and she finds her eyes dropping with exhaustion even though she didn't do anything all day. That's normal for me, though. [Y/W/N] almost feels Jayfeather calling her a lazy fur ball. She can't help but keep thinking about the leaders said. She didn't have a good feeling about this. The cats around her seemed to think the same, but they were confident. She felt proud to be Thunderclan. They reached the camp in a matter of what felt like seconds, and she mindlessly walks over to Jayfeathers den with him already there. He stretched and circled in his bedding. Jayfeather twitches his whiskers at her. "Your pelt was heating up, and you're zoning out again. Is this about Breezepelt?" "...Yeah. He was staring at us all during the gathering. I think he was grinning, too." Jayfeather stops grooming himself and looks directly at her. That still scares me. "That's definitely odd. He might just be trying to intimidate you." Jayfeather knew exactly the part Breezepelt had in this little be known to her knowledge. He couldn't reveal Ivypools secret, though, as much as he wanted to. He hated to keep things from her, but this would only endanger her if he told her now. It was too soon. He hardly saw himself as safe. When Ivypool knew more, he decided, he would tell her of Breezepelts training in the dark forest. "Yeah, you're right." [Y/W/N] meows. "Obviously." Jayfeather snickers and she bumps him playfully with her head. Briarlight hisses in friendly annoyance. "Are you two done yet? I'm hungry! And how did it go? I heard that the leaders were discussing some important business." Jayfeather rolls his eyes as [Y/W/N] begins to loudly exaggerate everything they said, dramatically rolling and strutting with her sentences to advance her story. This was mostly so Briarlight wasn't worried, but that doesn't mean [Y/W/N] didn't have fun doing it. Briarlight was staring with wide eyes. "Really?" She gasps."Yeah." Jayfeather meows. "But not to fear. Thunderclan will always thrive, especially with the other clans at our side!" [Y/W/N] puffs out her chest and prepares for the cheering of her presentation. Briarlight cheers her name and Jayfeather pushes her over into the nest. She rolls into a comfortable position, resisting the urge to take him down with her. "You need sleep. A lot of sleep." "Wait, Briarlights still hungry-" Jayfeather hisses and stalks out of the den. [Y/W/N] barely manages to say good night to Briarlight before collapsing just as Jayfeather came back into the den. "...Guess I'll be eating this magpie by myself. Here you go, Briarlight." He nudges a mouse over to her." "Thanks Jayfeather!" Jayfeather and Briarlight finish their prey before tucking into their nests. Jayfeather and firmly squished at [Y/W/N]s side. Briarlight was in her usual place. The warriors chatting died, too. The full moon rose higher within seconds as Briarlight drifted asleep.
