Chapter 1. An Unexpected Chance

Time skip

Naruto's POV

*alarm rings*  Ugh what time is it? *checks time* 8 am...? Okay back to sleep...... zzzzZZZZ

Third person POV

After 30 minutes

"Narutoooooo get up you lazy head! Time for breakfast! " Iruka yelled.

Naruto flinched, almost fall out of bed. He walked out the room and started off his day. After cleaning up himself, he wore a light blue hoodie with an uzumaki swirl in the middle, orange shorts with two black strips on both sides.

He ran downstairs and sat on the chair infront of the table.

"Is it ramen RaMeN RAMEN!?"

Kakashi chuckled. This boy had a crush on ramen huh?

Iruka raised an eyebrow, "Ramen is not good for health young man."

"But I looooooooove ramen!" Naruto pouted, both cheeks inflated like a hamster.

Iruka sighed, "We will go to the mall afterwards and have ramen for lunch okay?"

The blonde's eyes sparkled "Yayyyy thank you kaa-san!" and hugged him tightly.

"Okay okay stop hugging me and eat your breakfast or else no ramen!"

Naruto immediately ate his breakfast as he told to.

After breakfast, Naruto put on his black Converse and ran out of the house.

"Come on kaa-san tou-san, lets goooo!" The blonde beamed at them, jumping up and down.

The two shook their heads. He is tooooo excited to go out. Kakashi put on a black mask covering thw lower half of his face.

Naruto wondered "Tou-san, why do you need to cover your face? Are you sick?"

Kakashi smirked. "Kaa-san will become jealous if I didn't. I am too handsome. Girls will hit on me. "

Iruka blushed. "That's not true!"

Naruto laughed at them. 'I wished this would last forever. '

After 10 minutes of walking, they arrived at the mall. It was full of people. Of course, it is a Sunday today.

Iruka reminded Naruto. "Stick to us closely, we don't want you to get lost."

"Geez Kaa-san. I will be okay. I am 15 now. Besides, I can call you if i really did get lost."

"Just.....be careful!"

The blonde nodded hardly. Iruka and Kakashi thought 'Aww this ball of sunshine has grown up! '

They went to the supermarket to buy food for dinner.

Kakashi asked " What to you want for dinner tonight?"

"Ra-" His sentence was cut off by the silver haired man.

"No ramen."

Naruto frowned. "How about curry?"

"Okay! So curry for tonight!" Iruka clapped his hands.

Iruka picked up some potatoes and carrots. Kakashi went to the isle to grab curry sauce and Naruto found some beef. He also grabbed some daily goods like toothpaste, tissue paper and snacks etc. Some time later, they went to the counter to pay.

" That's a total of 5840 yen." Kakashi paid.

"Thank you have a nice day!"

The three of them picked up the groceries when they spotted a prize booth.

Naruto's POV

'Hmm.... there's a prize booth over there. I wonder what the prizes are?'

"Kaa-san tou-san, can we go there and check it out?" I pointed to the booth.

"Yea sure." They replied. We walked there to see what is going on. There is a list of prizes on the booth. Bronze prize: 1000 yen coupon(100 winners only) , Sliver prize: A Nintendo Switch (30 winners only) , Gold prize: A TV (5 winners only) and Diamond prize: SECRET (1 winner only) Huh Secret prize? That's.... weird. Let's try my luck in this! I asked the man in the booth.

"Can we do the lucky draw?" I asked the man in the booth.

"How much did you spent in the mall?"

We showed him the receipt. He smiled. "More than 5000 yen! You have one try!"

I shoved my hand into the lucky box, rummaging the balls inside it. Then picked up a sparkly ball.

"What is the prize?" It was weird looking.

The man shooked and awed. A few seconds later came to his senses.

"Ding-dong! We have a winner! He got the Diamond prize!"

People around me clapped and came to check out this mysterious prize. The three of us are also shooked.

I turned head facing my parents grinned, showing my pure white teeth. "Ha! I am that lucky!"

They both giggled.

Kakashi asked "So, what is the prize?"

The man in the booth toke out an envelope and gave it to me. "You are lucky. You are invited to attend a prestigious highschool in Japan—Konoha Academy!"

"SAY WHAT!?"
