Mexico is actually rather fast. He can run for a very long time without getting tired because he ran with his dad back when he was younger when they went out hunting. Not wanting to slack on his increasing stamina, he continues to run for extended periods of time. When his friends asked what motivated him to continue running he responded with, "I had to learn how to get away from Spain when he showed up with his chanclas and cinturón."
Not only does he incredible stamina and can run for miles without ever breaking a sweat, but he also has high pain tolerance that is continuing to increase because of all the violence he experienced throughout his youth. Because of this, it will take a lot for someone to even have Mexico to say "ow".
